Oh good!  Someone's gotta keep Lloyd in line.

Kat Kanning

Oooh, wasn't this fun, PatK?

Pat K

Soon; the snow.

I've walked along many a road in the fresh falling snow.
Many a path.  Many hours.  And for many a year.
Often on a road less travelled.  Sometimes well off the path.
Many-times alone.  Often at odd hours; and I love that.
I love the late/early hours in the clean crisp New Hampshire air.
And the quiet, peacefull solitude of walking alone in the snow.
What might I do if I found a friend who loves these things?

To walk together; alone in the snow.
[as in the words of "a great poet" named Ted Nugent:]
"Your time, and mine, alone; together."
Could I (re)learn how to do that again?
Bring on the New Hampshire snow!
I'm thinking I'm ready.

KBCraig

That's great, John. I don't think I've ever seen Nugent quoted in poetry.  :)

But... I don't think PatK will be your friend for walks in the snow.  ;D

John

T.N. is much under valued as a poet - at least when compared with J.M. (IMHO)   :o
And yes, Pat is a good friend, but not quite the type I hope to be taking walks in the snow with . . .

Kat Kanning

PatK says he's not speaking to you anymore, John.

What if he dropped a few pounds?

Kat Kanning

He's got a great personality, John.

No, it's his pretty face.

For Pat K
A WINTER  POEM
The best piece of  English literature I've seen in quite a while.....
try to memorize this poem by this December.....

                                  "  WINTER "

a poem by  Abigail Elizabeth McIntyre

" SHIT It's  Cold !  "

Kat Kanning

I don't think sending him poetry is going to win him over, Lloyd.  I know for a fact he slept with a little lady named Alice last night.

Pat K

80 yesterday in Winchester and no Snow.  ;D
