Everyone looks tiny to Jiant Johnson.

Ron Paul's down fall will come from "libertarian leaning" republicans, like that fellow in the video, Skip... "What about Iran and the bomb?" Well Skip Iran was the most "western" of the middle eastern countries until the US backed the Shah and the radical religious nuts rode to power in reaction against our tyrant.

Jim Johnson

Skip is halfway here.
It is strange that the most annoying and the most dangerous among "us" are the ones that are half way here.
Skip says, "Yes, I can see your point about our liberty, but what about subjugating those people over there.  Those people over there have to be under our control."

No Skip, "those people" don't need to be under "our" control.

If he actually won the primary, and they couldn't find a way to overturn it, they would simply ignore him and do nothing to help him win the election.
We learned that from the Granny D documentary. The Dems wouldn't support her, because she was an outsider to the system.
But I think Jim is correct. Ron Paul will vanquish his puny republican foes and slay the Osama. He will take down the commie red Obama posters and the statues of the Federal Reserve presidents. There will be dancing in the streets as he and his chosen raven haired vice-president goddess ride into town and free the peasants. Can he borrow the big sword?

RP is bringing about awareness to the people and the sheeple (as is Facebook) This is all good.
But if "they" allow RP to be Prez it will only be a set-up for a fall. Actually I am quite surprised they have let him go on this long. It makes me wonder what they have planned. JFK tried to end the fed. Kaboom.

Real solutions do not come from the government, Government is the problem. Can we stop it? Probably not. Can we try and arrange a lifestyle that ignores them, stop taking their handouts and carry on and live free? That's the challenge.

The NWO agenda is slowly churning along. They know we know...so they up the force then pass more bullshit laws to strip our rights. Anyone questioning their plans and motives are now filed into the Fusion Centers databases and labeled domestic terrrorists. A peaceful solution will be a hard row to hoe.

What goes on in the UK always comes to the US. The riots over there will soon be here. "Tanks in the streets" is what they want.. whether we  march in peace or march with machetes. It surely is some interesting times we are living in.

911 Part II is coming but it will have to be something on a much much larger scale.

Wow, they needed a study to figure that out?

I think it's great that he's reaching a lot of people with a liberty msg and many of those people will become anti-statists, particularly after they see what a joke the election system is.  I just worry about all those Rontarded people (I made up that word, but I bet I'm not the first) who are not doing a good job of managing expectations.  I see people investing a lot of time, effort, money, and worst of all, hope into this campaign.  As long as they realize what they're buying with all of that, I don't think it's a problem.  You're buying getting some great liberty messages out there using the political platform, and it's all upstream.  That is all you're getting for your investment.

Caution:  liberty msg and its counterparts; anarchical glutamate, hydrolyzed vegetable freedom, and free glutamic acid makes the brain stimulated and left wanting more.

I do not really think RP (if allowed to be Prez) will be able to change anything at all. Higher powers are at work.

What happened to a few other US presidents who attempted to end the federal reserve banksters?

I'm not sure which other US presidents you're referring to. Technically, Jefferson and Jackson both refused to renew national banks in the early 1800's but those banks didn't have as much power as the Federal Reserve. I have never heard of a more recent example.

I wouldn't say he won't be allowed to do anything. The biggest problem will be Congress fighting him when he tries to roll back govt, to return powers to the states and the people that the Federal govt grabbed for itself.

I think you may be right, though, about the higher powers, and not just the Federal Reserve, however I want to see him do very well, better than the mainstream media expects certainly, spreading the message of liberty, and perhaps helping to advance someone else to carry on after him - Gary Johnson perhaps - I expect Ron Paul's probably going to retire permanently after this election unless by some miracle he wins. It would help Johnson if Paul continued his candidacy as an independent after the Republican convention chooses someone else, with Johnson as his running mate. He wouldn't have to continue all the way to next November, as he would then guarantee re-election for Obama. Just long enough for the media to give Johnson some attention (at least the small amount they give Paul).

We need to do a lot to change minds to be more open to true liberty so that someday a principled pro-freedom politician can be too popular for them to keep him out - though that could also lead to more tyranny to keep that person from taking office.

I think one step is helping people who already believe in liberty realize their true political beliefs - too many people are staying out of the process because they don't think they can have any influence. I plan to get involved in Operation Political Homeless after I arrive in NH in less than a month.

For any who don't know, this is running a booth / table, giving a quiz to people to place them on a 2-dimensional drawing showing a better view of political labels than the standard 1-dimensional left-right paradigm. Many people are in the libertarian "quadrant," actually a little less than a quarter of the chart, and don't realize it. I want to help with that, help get the people who are already libertarian to get more involved and more active, in whatever way they choose to do so. I'm sure I'll find other ways to get involved as well.

MSNBC is now embarrassed by their ignoring Ron Paul, http://firstread.msnbc.msn.com/_news/2011/08/19/7420378-ron-paul-finishes-second-at-ames-gets-ignored-why  ...but they have excuses.

Tom, go ahead and officially record that I'm claiming dibs on "Randtarded" too.  I wanna get a jump on it before the 2nd wave of hysterical politicking.

Ya know you folk rock.

I just love checking in here at the end of a crappy day.

Probably be even better when I get to NH.

Noted and logged "Randtarded"... to be differentiated from "Randdroid"
