Over the weekend, following the Iowa straw poll result, we posed a simple question: why does the media continue to ignore Ron Paul (on both the left and right)? We followed up with none other than Paul's own response to this curious status quo. A few days later, it appears that the media itself has finally caught on to this ironic 'house of mirrors' effect, and while Paul is still not a household name, the self-effacing sarcasm this topic has garnered, has been captured best by none other than Jon Stewart in this entertaining clip that mocks the established mindset of the legacy media to not dare disturb the status quo, confirming that everyone, left and right, are really all just the same. For those who have not seen it yet, this is a hilarious must watch.

It's annoying, but it isn't anything that wasn't obvious 4 years ago.

Lloyd Danforth

With his expertise on the economy and his anti-war stance, he will be harder to ignore this time around.
Ron Paul is a Slayer of Sacred Cows, of which Stewart has many. He will turn on RP soon.

I dislike Jon Stewart. Another media whore throwing out a dogbone.

I guess it will get more comical for some of us as Ron Paul wins or comes close in elections .... and they still pretend he doesn't exist.
I wonder if the Republican Party would actually let him win a primary.

Tom Sawyer

Wow, that was really good... thanks to Jon Stewart.   :)

The seeds of dissent sown within the republican party... hope it tears them down to the ground. Maybe then something closer to freedom might try and grow from the ashes... nahhh, what am I saying, the republicans are lost to dreams of big government and how they will spend the ill gotten gains.

If he actually won the primary, and they couldn't find a way to overturn it, they would simply ignore him and do nothing to help him win the election.

The GOP leadership would rather see a second term for Obama, than have Ron Paul in the Whitehouse.

OMG!  He looks really small with out his super-suit; is he still going to save us?

I was told that he was going to grab the bowsprit of the ship of state in one hand and, with one punch of his other hand, turn the ship of state into a pile of hard currency.

I do not really think RP (if allowed to be Prez) will be able to change anything at all. Higher powers are at work.

What happened to a few other US presidents who attempted to end the federal reserve banksters?

...and when his enemies set upon him and he knows that he is at his end; he will take from his pocket the US Dollar.  He will say, holding the Dollar high, "By the power of the constitution!" and drive the Dollar into the stone, where by he will be vanquished.

Lloyd Danforth

RP would have appeared taller if he hadn't been introduced by the freakably, large Chris Lawless. They should have used that diminutive Republican representative who sports the Pea coat and Greek captains hat.
Allowed to live, the best RP could do as prez might be to lessen the misery a couple of generations down the line.
