If he actually won the primary, and they couldn't find a way to overturn it, they would simply ignore him and do nothing to help him win the election.

We learned that from the Granny D documentary. The Dems wouldn't support her, because she was an outsider to the system.
But I think Jim is correct. Ron Paul will vanquish his puny republican foes and slay the Osama. He will take down the commie red Obama posters and the statues of the Federal Reserve presidents. There will be dancing in the streets as he and his chosen raven haired vice-president goddess ride into town and free the peasants. Can he borrow the big sword?

come on Dale ..... if Ron Paul raises enough money he could save us all this time

Well Dale ... some guys have gone from really into these kinds of elections into crazy anarchists in the past. Maybe some will tire of primary fever this year too.

That's Michelle Bachmann, from Minnesota, but it was a straw poll, not a primary. I  can't imagine Ron choosing her as a running mate, though. Maybe Gary Johnson.

New Hampshire has the first primary, next February (the Iowa caucuses are just before it).

I don't know about avenge - they're trying to do with the Federal government what FSP members are trying to do with the state government - first, stop it from growing, second start shrinking it (at least the political activists - but I won't go into it any more on this forum, I know you don't like politics on here).

I wish it was that easy to rein in government. Just turn off the lights, and they go home?

DC is a bit out of my way, but I'd be happy to turn off the lights in Denver, Chicago, and Albany NY.
