Freedom Business

I've been mulling over some possible business ideas for when I'm a NH resident.  A few "Plan-B", off-the-radar ideas to fall back on in case my Soc. Security card were to somehow spontaneously combust.

Some ideas are Mole-type businesses.  Examples I've seen here on the forum have been providing mail or banking services to Ghost friends.  I got to thinking, once a bunch of Porcs are in NH, many will possibly do as Russell, Kat, and others  have done and ditch their Driver Licenses.

So here's the idea:  "The Freedom Taxi"  If enuff Porcs have relegated themselves to permanent pedestrian status, then a convenient, cheap transport service would seem a good idea.  If it became real popular, I could upgrade to a Party Bus with a stripper pole.....

Or, possibly start a legal taxi business (maybe "Porcupine Taxi"), and give discounts for people who use silver/gold.  Like in NY City where the taxi's play a recording of James Earl Jones or Peter O'Toole telling you to buckle up, but in the Freedom Taxi, the recording would be a quote from Murray Rothbard, H.L Mencken, Jacob Hornberger, etc.

Another advantage, if a Porc needed to get some mail to their Mole banker/mailer, they could just go for a little ride around the block in the PorcMobile, and whilst riding along, hand a few letters/packages to the intrepid & stalwart driver.  Modern day Pony Express.

Just brainstorming, typing it as I think it.

The end.

nice ideas dude.  I hope you will consider moving to Manchester from which you can be in geographic proximity to the largest number of liberty folks.   You may want to read How to be Invisible by JJ Luna to get ideas for what people may be looking for , particularly when it comes to the ghost address stuff.

When I do make the move to NH, I'll be doing so as an LPN or RN.  I'll do "Travel Nursing."  The contracting company that pays me will foot the bill for moving expenses, apartment & furnishings, etc.  This will allow me, hopefully, to enlist in numerous consecutive nursing contracts (typically 13 weeks, I think) in various areas of NH.  Ideally, this will allow me to learn the lay of the land and decide where I eventually want to set up permanent residence.

Ah, nursing...My sister has been travel nursing and got me thinking about it, and it seems like the ideal job for me.  Not that I have a burning desire to heal the sick, but the 3-day work week, massive demand for almost anywhere in the country, and the ability to go travel where the best paying jobs are at minimal expense, all seem too good to pass up.

I will have to weather the "Gaylord Focker" male-nurse girly-man stigma, though.  It'll be a big change from what I'm used to.  I always engaged in manly-man testosterone driven activities and occupations.  I've been a bouncer, security guard, PI, currently a bondsman.  I played college football, shoot guns, had some martial arts training.  Now I'm busting my ass to be a nursey nurse.  Ah well, its the price I pay for living the dream.

The only real downside I see is that my chosen profession is state licensed, thus keeping me tethered to the state.

Oh, another bonus:  if the world ever goes to shite, medical skills will be a valuable comodity.

How did I get off on this tangent?  My bad.

If I were younger, I would consider nursing as a career.  When I traveled across the country 13 years ago, they were looking for nurses and hairdressers everywhere we went.

You'd look cute in the little white skirt, Lloyd.

Trouble is, I got no hair to pin the cute little cap to!

Lloyd you can still be a hairdresser ;) :-*

Besides, they don't make nurses cap in tin foil.
