Here is a thought I had which I'm not really able to deliver on very well, at least not without addresses.

Considering all the hassles ed's neighbors have been put through....wouldn't it be nice if someone were to drop some sort of relief aid into their mailboxes?   like maybe cash or silver?   Of course you aren't supposed to put things directly into the mailboxes but you could put them in the newspaper tubes, or hang them in a bag.

Thoughts?

Even a thank you note (thanks for your patience, etc.) would be nice.  You're a genius Dave.

But the locals aren't happy:

you mean local government thugs?
I read somewhere that he owes property tax(not sure if that is true).... tax that pays for the fire service.  Kinda hypocritical to call them if you don't pay for them don't you think?

Russell Kanning

officially we don't know if they are complaining

dreepa just phrased his post that way ..... the article was about the cops being disturbed from their usual donut time

the feds have created almost all the problems ... and of course have started this whole thing.

you might be making that up

at one time he didn't pay property taxes .... and then gave in when the bad guys put pressure on him

don't jump to pro-government conclusions

Russell Kanning

I don't like calling the government thugs ..... but Ed does it all the time ....

to me ... bad things happen when you call those guys.

Who knows if the thugs would allow the FD onto the property?
It wouldn't be the first time services were denied.

Sure doesn't take the feds long to start monitoring your internet travels and e-mails....after opening your mouth in support of the Browns, is everyone here being monitored too.

Click on the videos labeled "Residents concerned about the situation" and "Supporters, residents react to Browns".

At least one of the papers I contacted have picked up the story, I am still trying to convince the Saturday Talk show into covering this.

Porcfest supporters were asking about the best way to visit the Browns this week.

Should they visit on Thursday, if you are going to be there already?

I can give Varrin a call back and tell him if that makes sense.
Anytime is good.
I advised Ed & Elaine about Porcfest last week, they were happy to hear that they may get many visitors this week.  I think Randy Weaver is still there and he's said he'd talk to visitors too.

Oh, they may be busy between 2-3pm weekdays with their live radio broadcast.

Calling the government a thug in general is one thing.  But I think the guys in the trenches are just guys like you and me, doing their jobs in order to provide for their families.  I've never met anyone who thinks his job is perfect.

Oldman when you are in the situation the Marshall is in of course they are going to monitor people who show support for Ed Brown, especially when he has threatened the lives of their families. Do I think its right, hell no, but can you really blame them? If someone threatened my family I would want to keep close tabs on those who support that person, quite possibly 90% of those wouldn't resort to such tactics but I would want to be sure. I said earlier today I learned a lot about how the income tax could quite possibly be an illegal tax, but it doesn't change my opinion of Ed Brown and how he threatened to kill innocent people. Put yourself in Marshall Monier position for a second. Imagine for a second your family was threatened as well as families of your friends that you work with. Id do some serious research as to who I was dealing with and who their supporters really are. But most in here need not worry, its pretty obvious you will put in the category of peace loving hippies who would never fight fire with fire. Oldman if you are the same guy who posts on keepandbeararms all the time Id be careful about how you show your support. If its legit and you believe in his message about the income tax than cool, but lets hope you aren't one to promote violence against innocent people. If the Browns had just stuck to their message about the income tax without threats Id just look at all of this as an educational experience, but since I live in NH and he has threatened law enforcement agents, who I happen to know quite a few of, I drew the line there.

oldman:

In general If you're contacting local media outside nh to suggest a story, try to find a local angle.    a local person involved, etc.

if you cant find such an angle, then the best people to contact are usually national media, perhaps pro liberty outlets.
