Re: Ed and Elaine Brown, 423 Center of Town Road

Dear Marshal Monier

The Plainfield Selectboard, through this letter, is adding its voice to those that are expecting the Federal Government to use the necessary means to take into custody convicted felons Edward and Elaine Brown.  The Federal Government is charged with this work and has significantly more resources at their disposal than our local police department.  While we understand and support efforts to achieve a quiet resolution to this matter, the longer the Brown's remain at large the better the chance, in our view, that our local police force will be involved in an incident with them or their group of supporters.  In short, we believe that it is time that definitive action be taken.

The Selectboard is available (in public or private session) to discuss this matter further.  Thank you for your consideration of our comments.

Thanks Margo for the e-mail of the letter re-typed as follows:

... The Federal Government is charged with this work ...

c: ...
Michael J. Guarracino, US Supreme Court....

Update: I just called the U.S. Supreme Court at 1-202-479-3211 and spoke with the receptionist there, the middleman, and then another woman who said I was being connected to Mr. G. who I spoke with, and who confirmed to me that he was a friend of Justice Bryer, me later calling the Plainfield Town office at 469-3201 talking with the receptionist there too and then Steve Hallaran, the Town Administrator saying: yes, Mr. G. was a friend and with the title of Security Officer for the judge who lives down the road from Ed's place. I tried to talk further with Mr. G. as I told the receptionist in my first and only call to there that another "c:" was to "Senator Sununu" who promised me that the Federal AOC would get back to me (like what? GET BACK TO ME, like the SAME GET BACK TO ME excuses I get from Gov. Lynch!?) The AOC supposed to be getting the name and title of the officer who is supposed to be filing these NH RSA 123:1 papers with Bill Gardner's office of N.H. Secretary of State, as the N.H. Legislature offered "concurrent" jurisdiction to the Feds by Art.I,Sec.8,Cl.17 U.S. Const., but was somehow: REFUSED, for whatever reason by WHOever if ANYbody; but Mr. G. never got this information directly from me, as he hung up the phone, or it was disconnected.

I told this to Steve Hallaran as the "charge" word in the Selectboard letter could be looked at in two ways: (1) the charge of the judge to the Marshal by Bench Warrant, but more basic than that of: (2) "The Federal Government" who was NOT really "charged" as in entrusted in that NO jurisdiction of ANY type (wither concurrent or exclusive) was EVER "given over to" THEM! by our N.H. Legislature. The OFFER was made, BUT never accepted by the proof of the filings.

I further told Steve that this jurisdictional issue was discussed by Retired State Rep. Dick Marple of Hooksett (also a retired State Trooper) and myself in Scott Hilliard's NEW office in his first days on the job as the new Merrimack County Sheriff in Concord (having beaten Chet Jordan in the Republican Primary, and as the only candidate remaining in the general election), and Scott told us that Stephen Monier, the Marshal had sent him an e-mail of to: STAND DOWN, on this jurisdictional issue.

So then I asked Steve Hallaran IF the Marshal had taken them up on their invitation for either a "public or private session" and the answer is: NO.  Then I suggested to Steve that the Selectboard: (a) invite the Marshal to their Aug. 1st meeting to like show-cause why the Feds are NOT in contempt of our RSA 123:1 as OUTside their Art.I,Sec.8,Cl.17 U.S. Const. exclusive jurisdiction to Washington, D.C. only.  Steve said that he'd "float this by the Selectmen" at their next meeting: Wed., July 18th (next Wednesday), plus (b) also my other suggestion that they get a 2nd opinion on this RSA 123:1 issue with Maura Carroll, the General Counsel of the N.H. Municipal Association, of which Plainfield is a member of this N.H. Gov't Center in Concord (behind TARGET), as already pre-paid, and he said that he'd "float this by" the Selectmen too.

So maybe some reader here, like TTW, you can go to this next Wed., July 18th meeting to see to it that these floats land on the table by Roberts Rules of Order for them to decide right then and there for such: (a) invitation, +/or (b) second legal opinion.

Yours truly, - - Joe H.

Romak, thank you for supporting Ron Paul.  I think the Ron Paul campaign is the most important cause someone can support at this time.  As far as Ed and Elaine Brown are concerned, I would like to keep them alive if possible.  I don't agree with everything Ed says, and am trying to gain a better understanding of his point of view, but I think it is in everyone's best interest that they aren't killed.  I don't want the feds to raid their property, partly because it would likely become a bloody mess if they were to try to take them.

Romak

No need to thank me its imperative that Ron Paul gets his message out. Its amazing how many people like his message when they hear it. Ive said it many times I dont want to see anyone killed over this. In case you havent read my posts before there are two main reasons why I cant support Ed Brown.

1. So far as I can see there isnt anything saying the income tax is illegal, the proper way to change this is by electing people who want to abolish it.
2. Ed Brown has stated on numerous occasions that he will kill the Marshalls in charge as well as their families, this is where I draw the line. You cant threaten to kill innocent people and expect people to support you in force. Marhsall Monier as far as I can see is a decent man who is being put in a very tough situation. He is nothing like those morons who killed innocents in Waco, and Ruby Ridge.

What about all the people who die while being harrassed by the irs, during illness and who wants an agent trying to tell someone they owe taxes on their death/healing bed?  Is this a joke? or should had the someone thought about all their life actions before they thought about becoming ill or before becoming a taxpayer? When does someone become a taxpayer and why?  Being shown in a high school how to fill out a 1040 form and sign it does not a taxpayer make.
Should the sick person with no "income," get back outside and work at a day labor camp to pay for penalties and interest?? On What?

This is considered frivolous????????????????????????????  A tax evader???  Maybe someone who has questions, this is all they have because the paper monopoly money does not flow from an Enron profit and loss sheet all the time. Many honest people have honest concerns. Bullying everyone into an alcoholic submission, with a gun or fear of God, is not the answer, dude.

Is Chernobyl considered a tax deduction on something that was not income? Is this an overseas tax credit or shelter?

How come contractors in Iraq do not have to pay taxes on the "income," they bring back to the 50 states? I met a very nice college student whose father is a contractor and his college is paid for by tax free money. The rest of the kids are on Sallie Mae, or Fed loans, but who cares because that is another complicated issue. Just ask your accountant what is best for you... ask your accountant...ask yer account..ant annt an t. (This does not compute, Will Robinson)
Maybe we should ask our accountants or attorney, yes masta.

ie: Should cancer patients just hand over what they do not have because what they did have, they spent on staying healthy because someone with a paper and a gun now says because you had spent more to stay healthy, you now owe uncle sam? Working to die for uncle?

There is a very serious problem and serious questions in regard to law and  how taxes are collected and some people do not have the time to wait 40 years for an honest elected official via electronic koko the gorilla voting machine to split the ocean in two for all those to be freed.  I do not think particular bankers have the ability to split the ocean either. They only know how to divide and conquer, in the name of greed.

Can anyone explain what this video is about?

http://www.prisonplanet.com/articles/july2007/090707_a_council.htm

I am at work and do not have speakers to listen and also thought someone in here might have first hand knowledge of it.

Kat Kanning

The first part is the council talking about some construction project.  Then Bernie is presenting the Plainfield city council with some legal documents, (RSA 123?) indicating their responsibility to protect the Browns from the feds.  Council says that they haven't changed their position on the Browns.  Cops film Bernie, Lauren and cameraman.  Council is confused about what Bernie wants them to do, why they're at the meeting.  Bernie explains the feds are operating illegally.  Since the council accepted tax funds from the Browns, they entered a contract to protect the Browns from illegal activity - or return their tax money.  Council replied that no harm has come to the Browns yet.  Council gets impatient and wants them to wrap it up.  Councilwoman says the Browns need to pay their taxes.  The legal arguments are cut short.  Council says their position hasn't changed and they are not going to protect the Browns.  Bernie replies that it would make all NH statutes null and void, since they're going to ignore the laws, we don't have to obey them either.  Councilman says most people in this country are satisfied with current setup, and "we represent most people."  Benrie tries to explain to policeman his duty to protect the Browns, but the guy just walks away from him.  Bernie was real polite all throughout.

True. Unfortunately, it seems the vast majority of that 2,187 would support the IRS employee, out of sheer stupidity.

Stupidity or fear?

You can choose how you react to being afraid. Most people, though, fail to think, and thus make stupid choices.

kola

cool vid...it was funny to watch the cop act so defensive...and his loyal boss who comes out to take a peek and then hides behind him.

guilty spineless crooks.

btw  i liked the zoom-in on "Blinkey the cop"

I think all of them are putting their jobs in jeopardy. It would be nice to challenge the fact thet they are not doing their duties and ask for their removal.

and Blinkey the cop was very disrespectful and out of line.

The "ringleader" says he satisfies MOST of the  people.

Why not take a poll or vote of the people and see the results?

Thank you Kat and Kola.  :)

So basically the council is going to keep picking their noses...

How sad  :'(

And why not? They won't suffer any consequences for sitting back and allowing the whole thing to unfold.

The proper citizens' remedy would probably be an Art.32 petition to "instruct their representatives." (New Hampshire Bill of Rights): http://www.nh.gov/constitution/billofrights.html

-----
[Art.] 32. [Rights of Assembly, Instruction, and Petition.] The people have a right, in an orderly and peaceable manner, to assemble and consult upon the common good, give instructions to their representatives, and to request of the legislative body, by way of petition or remonstrance, redress of the wrongs done them, and of the grievances they suffer.
-----

A statement of instruction could be developed and then circulated for signatures among the people of Plainfield and then delivered to the public body. This BoR does not describe a state sanctioned procedure, so it would have to be thoughtfully developed. The Massachussets petition wording is similar, but continues to elaborate. Not sure if the elaboration was included in the original wording, authored by John Adams in both cases, or was added by amendment later, but it might be good for guidelines. The council of the town is considered to be the legislative body.

Anyone know what "by way of remonstrance" means? I don't.

remonstrance:

http://www.answers.com/topic/remonstrance

Yes Jageboy, I think your idea of a petition is a good one. Everytime these council monkeys say something to try and validate their position it should be proven wrong. Eventually the "monkeys" will end up convicting themselves by their comments and actions. And when are continually proven wrong  (by law and the common peoples responses) they will eventually dig their own graves.
