Coverage of the concert:

Browns throw themselves a party, Concord Monitor, Sunday, July 18, 2007

Browns' bash draws about 200, Manchester Union Leader, Sunday, July 18, 2007

My favorite part: The town installed a traffic counter, to try to monitor traffic in and out, and somebody stole it.

It was foolish of them do not allow all press to attend.  It just gave them an excuse to trash the party in their reporting.  Had they been allowed in, they would see that it was simply a pleasant gathering - nothing dangerous about it.

A tent was set up next to the house for the bands, and supporters - some wearing shirts supporting Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul - milled in the yard and driveway.

Some were wearing shoes by the maker Nike!

I agree, but then we had all the important press there. :)

I'm going to pretend for a moment that I'm on your side with this whole Ed Brown thing. What the hell were you people thinking going to an event like this? Ed Brown pretends that he has thousands of supporters who have been preparing for this for ten plus years. If thats the case Id say they aren't that bright. Lets say there were 200 people there, Id probably bet that the Marshalls possibly knew who a quarter of your were. Now they know who all of you are. For people who think they are at war with a Nazi regime thats an incredibly stupid thing to do. Most on here compare Bush to Hitler. If you are dealing with someone as evil and dangerous as Hitler why in the world would you give away your best kept secret? Your best secret is that the Govt doesn't know who all of their opposition is. Now they do in this case. I'm sure there were people who weren't there but they have narrowed the list down quite a bit. The great thing about this as far as I'm concerned is if some nitwit kills some agents family member they will hopefully have a better chance of finding out who this person is. Now to the one part of this that makes no sense. If that chopper was in fact a Dept of Homeland Security chopper thats a bit of a problem. There job is to go after terrorists, not to partake in apprehending American citizens. I'll have to make a few calls to see if that was in fact the case. There are a lot of people out there who dint support Ed Brown and all of those involved should be happy those people aren't supporting Ed Brown because that might make the Govts job a heck of a lot harder, but if that chopper was actually Homeland security, Ed Brown may have just gotten himself a heck of a lot more serious support. The thing that is holding these people at bay is that Ed Brown is a nutjob and that the Govt is actually handling this case very well. Id hate to think and agency that was not created to go after American citizens who have nothing to do with terrorism is actually involved. That might be a major problem to some.

Do you think that the press was allowed to attend, they would have refrained from using lines like:

who for months have been holed up in their fortress-like home

?

Yesterday, Monier said local police were updating him regularly about the activity at the Browns' house. He would not say whether the helicopters flying above the property contained federal agents.

"I'm not going to get into what kind of resources we have there," he said.

"We have taken steps to ensure that there are adequate resources available to Chief Gillens and his department to preserve public safety."

I guess we know who sent the helicopter now.

If I was the Browns I would ask the media to attend these kinds of events.
But reporters have visited the Browns and have still had those sorts of comments.

Oh Shit!

Along with ever other fucking thing the government knows about me, now, they know I like concerts!

You know, the tail number was clearly visible on camera. It was N187AE. You can stick it in Google and find out who owns it.
