Here's a link to a German article about the family Brown.
Thanks to Danny Riley for all the updates:

   http://www.20min.ch/week/tv/story/22439709

According to Danny and my limited feeble grasp of Deutch,
this article has quite an anti-tax protest slant.  Some of the
countries in the EU have very high taxes, and such activities
would surely threaten those governments.  Imagine the
Green party members in Germany refusing to pay taxes until the
German government met the party demands.  That would
surely create internal issues.

I dunno, it seemed about the same as most of the other mainstream media articles about the Browns.

Rather die than taxes pay
The Americans OD and Elaine Brown settle no more calculation of the treasury since eleven years. The married people would pay their refusal to pay to the state even with its life.

And other deliveries to the state to income taxes pay? "that is slavery" finds the married couple OD and Elaine Brown from New Hampshire, the USA.

Approximately three million dollar debts

The two accumulated a tax liability of 600,000 dollar, in addition come in the meantime interest, small fine and fines. Altogether the Browns the state owes approximately three million dollar.

Their property resembles a fortress

Faithfully their slogan to live in the fight to rather die than in slavery the Browns barricaded on its messuage in the Oertchen Plainfield, in the Federal State New Hampshire, and waits themselves for the attack of the police authorities, which want to prepare an end for the Steueranarchismus. River and water are turned off long, the postman come also not more.

Until to the teeth arms

The Browns lives nevertheless selfly-sufficient, owing to solar cells, supplies and innumerable sympathizers, which do not become tired, the married couple with the most necessary one to supply. In addition also ammunition and weapons belong, finally want the married couple prepared to be for the large show down with the police, should these to decide to storm the messuage. A firingready, large-caliber gun is therefore also always in the hosenbund of OD, further weapons, under it also fully automatic storm rifles, stores aufmunitioniert in the house.

FBI cuts the Browns off of the external world

OD Brown feels in the right. It appoints itself to the US Tax code as well as different judgements of the highest Court of Justice. After its opinion the Tax code is not an adequate law, to the introduction of taxes - does as the State of it - therefore suitably. Without law however no taxes. "show me the law and we pay immediately. Within 48 hours ", he will repeat not tiredly, if he first times in rise up himself talked.

Pilgerstaette Plainsfield

The Browns became in the meantime models for all possible state opponents, their messuage in Plainsfield - a Pilgerstaette. Come not only opponents "fiskalen robbery knight politics" but also radicals of the any Couleur, which are for example of free possession of arms or against immigrants. Also the Iraq war must hold as proof for the fact that the US government powders the tax fundses of its voters senselessly.

The Polzei is on the hat

A conquest by force of the bastion excludes the employment leader of the police force locally meanwhile. "we proceed carefully, we to know, which have there inside weapons", say Mars-resound Criticize.

The "tax Anarchos" today in the TV

The "foreign journal" in the Second Channel of German Television reports today in a contribution in detail on the Steuerpreller from New Hampshire (see info. box).

Dunkin Donuts for breakfast, Panera Bread for lunch, and back home for dinner. Lots of surfing the Internet to keep the day lively.

When things are quiet at the Browns the feds have nothing to do. Having parties and "making noise" only gives the feds a reason to act. Look back at all the commotion from the big party. It gave the feds a reason to fly choppers around, flood the area with gooncops, road counters etc. The Browns should remain quiet, keep their property booby-trapped and wait out the storm. let the bastards wither on the vine.

OTOH, I will always support The Browns decision to defend themselves. I also believe Ed and Danny  should be filing charges against the bastards for the shooting/taser incident.

I'm certain the benefits outweigh the harrassment, or they wouldn't be holding these events.

This update is a few hours old...

10:10 PM - FUNDRAISER STARTED!!!!!

In our ongoing efforts to support the Browns in their stand against tyranny and in order to help the Browns defend their property, their lives, and to begin the process of restoring our Republic, we are beginning a fundraiser.  With all the untapped resources of their fellow countrymen and women who want to participate in the struggle to restore our Republic, it has been decided to accept donations so we can pool our resources.

No one can afford to contribute thousands of dollars, but if thousands of people each give a few dollars – we can do it – with no one really taking a financial hit.  All donations go directly to the defense of the Brown's home and to help pay their expenses, as they continue their brave and historic stand for our country.

The only spot to donate online is MakeTheStand.com -- Ed & Elaine's official website.  Other sites should link to our donations page at http://www.makethestand.com/modules.php?name=Donations.  Our PayPal email address is ed@makethestand.com.  We will post a mailing address that you can send personal checks, money orders, and cashiers checks to very soon.  For now, you can use any major credit card or debit card.  If you haven't registered with your email address at MakeTheStand.com, Ed & Elaine ask that you take 30 seconds to do so.  This way we can email you and keep you up-to-date on anything that's going on.  Click here --->http://www.makethestand.com/account-new_user.htmlto join the email list.

We must stand together to have any chance of prevailing for freedom. This is just the beginning of restoring our liberties and taking our country back.

Thank you for your continued support of Ed & Elaine's stand.

Danny Riley and Shaun Kranish -- friends and supporters of Ed & Elaine.

PayPal is going to wait until you've got a decent amount of money donated and then freez the account. It's almost guaranteed.

Recumbent ReCycler

Yeah, Paypal is shady like that.  They froze one of my friends' account when he had over $2000 in his account because he used to sell unfinished gun parts on his website.

J’raxis 270145

What exactly happens to the money when they do that? They're not exactly the government who can get away with just up and confiscating people's money.

Keep transferring it out as it's coming in. Of course it takes a few days for that to complete.  :-\
