Your right to remain silent applies even before you're arrested. Telling the government anything they might disagree with in the future is a very bad idea.

Smite me again. I like it.

Fed agents call Cohoes raid part of 'militia' tax case

QuoteAuthorities close to the case say the Browns and their alleged allies are part of an underground network of gun-hoarding quasi-survivalists who abhor federal authority and stay in touch with each other via the Internet.

This circus has come full circle now. To describe these morons as member of an underground militia is plain lunacy and true patriots should take offense to this. I don't want to be represented by Ed Brown, Dan Riley, Reno and that other guy. Are you kidding me?? These men couldn't hold a candle to most of the guys I know. What our group of men here in NH does is work to protect the safety of all NH citizens from anyone and everyone who wishes them harm. That includes Marshall Monier and other agents that reside in this state. We focus on turning non gun owners into gun owners so they are able to protect themselves and their families from criminals, who seem to be rushing from the border down in MA to committ more crimes against decent people in NH.  Ed Brown picked a fight with them, they didn't just arbitrarily decide to go after Ed and his wife. Id protect Marshall Monier or anyone else in his family to the death against these people. And so would any of my friends. This bs has to end.

Considering that Ed's old militia contacts and survivalist buddies (he used to teach survival skills in the woods at his home until one of his students killed himself in an accidental shooting ) wouldn't come near him with a ten foot pole, and that militias around the country universally think he's an idiot, this association is just plain wrong.

that does sound like most of Ed's friends .... and most of mine
We call this site the underground
many are gun nuts
we all hate the feds .... except dada and the government apologists
we want to survive
and we have to communicate on the internet and cell phones .... they turned off ed's mail and phone

Fed agents call Cohoes raid part of 'militia' tax case

--Thanks (V).  According to this report of yesterday by Shawn Charniga for "The Record" at http://www.troyrecord.com/site/news.cfm?newsid=18816887&BRD=1170&PAG=461&dept_id=7021&rfi=6 Danny was arraigned in the U.S. District Court at Albany, N.Y. "before federal judge Randolph Treece who had signed off on the search warrant earlier in the day".  Danny "did not enter a plea" which was good, but WHERE was the evidence in the certificate of federal filing by Art.I, Sec. 8, Cl. 17 U.S. Const.* to N.H. RSA Ch. 123:1 giving jurisdiction to the "authorities** in N.H."?  Judge Treece should have asked for PROOF of their authority** instead of presuming or assuming it, and as for the latter, the old saying goes that: to ass-u-me is to make and "ass" out of "u"/you and "me".  Thus Judge Treece was and is an "ass", unless he revokes whatever he did to help turn-over Danny to Monier's gang of criminals who are "outlaws" as in violation of his oath of office to abide by the United States Constitution!* To find out who issues his paycheck and put in a claim for public hearing that he be fired for lousy service!  We, the taxpayers except more of our public servants than this roughshod or arrogant**** treat***ment.  Due "process"*** requires both the procedural and substantial. The end does NOT justify the means.  Either Monier has the authority or he does not!  I have proof that he does not, and hopefully IF Danny's brother Bill gets a Petition for Habeas Corpus to the Strafford County Judge on Monday morning, this federal farce can end! Farce defined as "An empty show"!  Does anybody have a copy of the documentation presented to Treece where the Monier gang asserted this "authority"?  I call Monier a liar! and like thieves, he ought to serve sevenfold the time unlawfully and illegally put upon Danny and the others, +/or pay that now $2,500 per day penalty out of his own salary! Two thousand five hundred dollars per the Veronica Silva case with the N.H. State Board of Claims back in the mid 1980s that made the front pages of the http://www.unionleader.com as $1,250 per day gotten for her unlawful incarceration for twenty (20) days by Attorney Andru Volinsky who got $5,000, since increased from the $25,000 to $50,000 limit.

The word arrogant**** defined as: (1) overbearing: domineering, as in to rule arrogantly, tyrannize, a tyrant (or despot) being an oppressor, and here in N.H. we have RSA Ch. _____ in the Criminal code for "Official Oppression" http://www.state.nh.us to use against any government officer who refuses to check-and-balance this federal crap! Monier is also (2) "vain", as in lacking substance or worth, hollow: THE substance or material of reality, as opposed to this appearance, the former being from the constitution, and Monier just does NOT have this matter, his show in N.Y. was a mere appearance withOUT lawful authority! The word vain, also defined as ir-reverently.  Was he ever a Boy Scout?  Remember the oath of to be reverent too? feeling or expressing reverence, defined as respect.  As in the title of respect for a clergyman: Your Reverence. Getting back to domineering again from Dominion IS an order of angels, and so I pray and petition to God Almighty that His angels bring a message of hope to Danny that he will be the one to over-turn this federal corruption here in what is now like not the state, but "Plantation of New Hampshire", where we the citizens are subject to conceit!  The too high an opinion by and of Monier's worth when the fact and law is that the Feds are out-of-order! as outlaws! We are not supposed to live in a "Dulocracy" where the servants dominate over the master, but in an Art. IV, Section 4, U.S. Constitutional Republican form of government!

--Thanks too to Scott Roth, but I just can't help not writing these fine details to nail these bastards! I'm not a lawyer, but have gotten released from the Grafton County Jail before on a Petition for a Writ of Habeas Corpus, the exact wording for such in RSA Ch. _____ that had Judge Robert E.K. Morrill (who was Robert Lynn's predecessor at the Superior Court Center) over-rule Judge Edwin W. Kelly of the Plymouth District Court, who is now in charge of all the District Courts, him and his buddy Mike Boloca of the Public Defenders Office then to the fence of the exercise yard, me playing horseshoes back then in North Haverhill, N.H. on the 60th day of lock-up saying that if I said I was sorry to Judge Wm R. Johnson he would let me out of contempt of court.  I told him in effect to read Art. 22+23, N.H. Const., Part 2 of the limit for contempt being ten (10) days, and without any apology, I was released on day #62.

--Plus I just called the Strafford County Jail at 742-3310 See http://www.co.strafford.nh.us/jail and was told that Danny is in "General population" there with visiting days of Saturday and Sundays from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 o'clock p.m. but that he has to have you on his "sign-up" sheet ahead of time. And anybody can donate $x amount of dollars to his commissary account anytime so that he can buy phone cards to call out like to his brother Bill, who I hope can visit him over the weekend to get the paperwork into the Strafford County Court first thing Monday morning.

Yours truly, Joe H.

P.S. For an interesting history of the Strafford County Jail, see http://images.dover.lib.nh.us/DoverHistory/strafford_county_jail.htm where maybe the Masonic "Lodge" is still in power over there?  ;) re: that case of McArthur (a member of the Order? or one who victimized the Order by stealing a horse from a fellow/Lodge member?) and "Horsethief" who escaped to parts unknown. Maybe ending up like "Braveheart" withbody parts to the four corners of the state.

Romak

Speak for yourself Russell I dont paint Federal agents with such a broad stroke. Like anything else there are good apples and bad apples. I prefer to focus on the bad apples of every group and weed them out. Ed Brown is a bad apple.

LordBaltimore

Sounds like today's concert is, well, interesting, roadblocks and all.

To protect us from those dangerous runaway slaves who think they can get off the plantation without being hunted down and brought back, dead or alive.

no no ... slavery is illegal here in the good ol' US of A. I'm sure there's someone here on this board that can find the specific law. From what I recall it had something to do with abolishing involuntary servitude unless used as a punishment for a crime. Hey...does that mean we're all criminals? o.O or slaves? hmmm

error

Yeah, but the 13th amendment was repealed with the 16th.
