"During the standoff, the Browns missed a key court deadline, which means they will not be able to appeal their convictions on the tax crimes."

There should never be a deadline for appeal.  The innocent should always have some means of redress.  Only the government should have statutes of limitation.

"criminal threatening"

Yeah, like they don't run around and overtly threaten people with all kinds of things.

I was just wondering if there are any notices posted on the Brown's driveway or at their house? Has anyone been that way? I'll be wanting to include in my story who the "authority" is that will forbid anyone from entering the property. Seems like it was a multi-jurisdictional group that participated in the raid. I'd like to know who will end up owning this action or if it's just a series of blurry line after blurry line.

Just ignore the government, I encourage people to socially ostracize it and those who work for it. "What's that Dogbert? You work for the government? Well then, sorry, my chid will no longer play with your child. We don't want our little Jimmy playing with the son of a criminal." Imagine a federal agent moving to a town and the townsfolk refusing to do business with them, refusing to talk to them, refusing to acknowledge their existence, that would be very uncomfortable, very upsetting. Ignorance is bliss. By paying attention to government you legitimize it.

Yamnuska, When you ignore the baboon that escaped from the zoo, does that mean that you are safe?  Of course not.  The same goes with these "Wild One's", i.e. the bad apples in the barrel.  We do not ignore the bad apples, but pluck them out! Not that I'm advocating that the "assassination squad" take care of the judge and prosecutor, but that like I said to the Marshals: their days are numbered too.  Not in the loss of their life, but to make them pay for their misdeeds.  Just imagine a judgment for Ed & Elaine having to be paid from out of the elegit/ half of the salaries of: Tom Colantuono, William Morse, Stephen McAuliffe, and Marshal Monier; say $100,000/year each on average x 4 = $400,000 divided by 2 = $200,000/yr. then the Browns will be millionaires in five (5) years.  Plus bonuses too from all four Congressmen (2 Senators + 2 Representatives) = millionaires in half the time.  These political goons to face the music as they say; http://www.thefreedictionary.com/face+the+music "To accept the unpleasant consequences, especially of their own actions." or in the public servant cases, for this latter group, their in-actions, as public non-servants!

Plus WHO is this JJ MacNab? who is some tax evasion expert who is writing a book about the tax protest movement.  "The Governor & J.J."?  Does she really think that the "violence MAY increase over the next few days as supporters vent their anger about the arrests"? (emphasis ADDed for the "may" word, so you can guess what type of book she'll have, MAYBE it will be a best-seller, MAYBE it won't.  >:D Maybe it will cost you an hour's worth of your wages, maybe it'll cost you two. Maybe this, maybe that.  Come on, can't Margot get any more than a "maybe" out of her?  Fence-sitter over lukewarm water.

See Margot's "Browns fell for disguised marshals" ..."on their porch" over at http://www.concordmonitor.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20071006/FRONTPAGE/710060394 and who is this Deputy Marshal who called a Free State Project member to say: "We are not going to tolerate it." It being the violence, as by the "assassination squads".  "This is your get out of jail card.  The next time we call, you're going to come with us."

If anybody does any physical "capture the flag" here, or as by to take a prisoner in this latest battle in the war on taxes and gov't corruption, then let it not be to take their life, but if you really have to do something, to direct their path to the Office of Secretary of State. Point out to them the error of their ways.  They have gone astray and need to be put back on the right path. And through the gauntlet, of course!  ;D Tell them to march on over to Bill Gardner's office, and if you have to, don't get out your gun to "make 'em dance" like in those old TV westerns: but there is a way*  to get them over to the State House for the final federal filing. Signed in their own blood would be nice.  8) The way* being for the governor to do his duty by his Art. 41 powers to enforce all legislative mandates by the "shall" word in RSA Ch. 123:1 from 1-8-17 U.S. Const., and if he won't do his job, then impeach the bastard!  Do not wait until the next election. Get your state Rep. to file a House Bill of Impeachment by Art. 17 for a trial in the Senate by Art. 38.

Give your Legislator a call, then follow it up with a letter, then make a personal appearance on the doorstep of their house: like find out when the time is they usually go to work, and be there in their face at the end of their driveway on public property if they decide to post it or tell you to KEEP OUT.  They work for you, and have already been pre-paid, so if there is any physical confrontation it's for services non delivered but already pre-paid, and so with the right to take-back what you think you deserve of this $100.00 so far for 2007, and give them a receipt.  Like maybe to grab their wallet, deduct a $20 bill and change for some 7th Amendment action in alignment with the RSA Ch. 627:8 right to use FORCE to regain YOUR property! The word "your" of course they'll think as theirs, and they'll probably TRY to charge you with assault or robbery, but not when you do it with a receipt showing no criminal intent!  >:D Just more Art. 10 Revolutionary tactics taken ONE STEP BEYOND the 401 Center of Town Road turf.

Yours truly, JSH

P.S. If caught or killed, the secretary will disavow any knowledge of your actions.  Good luck Jim.  :)

note:  Seriously now: WHO is that State Rep. for Plainfield that is the law professor over in Vermont?  Do you want to target him as the first to give a greeting card to, in person? He has talked to me on the telephone before, but when it gets down to brass tacks, he's a wimp when it comes to a check-and-balance.  We've either got to convince him to do what's right, or get him to generate some negative ions of guilt so that his structure is in need of a vacation, to take a medical leave of absence, so that there can be a special election for when he dies or is so incapacitated that he ought to give back the $200 and let somebody else take his seat.  And speaking of which: why not also center in on that other State Rep. in the Dover area who is down with cancer?  Maybe he'd like to stop and smell the roses before he checks out of this world, and so can pass the baton over to a candidate we can support: one that will have a campaign promise to Impeach Lynch!

footnote #2.  I've done this drop-off of papers before with a State Rep. during the day to his house, with (guard)dog present, nice doggie,  and then called him at supper time to see if he got my papers OK to read that he did, but that went nowhere fast, needing a return visit, that I never did. With one more person a day added to the drop-off, like a fill-in-the-blank House Bill of Impeachment, and at or just after breakfast, that would give him all day to think that we would be there to greet him on his return home too! to be reminded.  ;)

Freedom is a conversation that will never, ever, end.....

It's about exiting the Wizard's Castle - and carrying the Wizard on your/our shoulders if need be - to a place in the green grass with the sun shining overhead where there's flowers and trees and bees buzzing in the light wind with music, song and kids playing and laughing.  We are all called to lay down and sit upon gather round a giant picnic blanket that becomes filled to overflowing with all kinds of fresh fruit, bread, wine and cheese.  This is what "The Free State" - physically and spiritually manifesting - is all about.

Peace and God Bless,

Just FYI, for those of you wanting to track where the Browns are located:

http://bop.gov/iloc2/LocateInmate.jsp

Elaine's register number is 03924-049
Ed's is 03923-049

They will probably be in contract jails for a month or so until the Marshals actually deliver them to their destination.

Thanks again KBC. The BOP locator here reads that Elaine is there and with a "Projected" Release Date of 04-30-2012, that is based on court errors needed to be overturned by a Declaration of Mistrial, using the Danny Riley Habeas results soon to be obtained. Her mailing address is:

Elaine Brown
Danbury FCI
Route 37
Danbury, CT 06811

This found under the "Address Directory" left margin, click for Inmate Mail.

My presumption is that the Feds have complied with the 1-8-17 U.S. Const. there for Conn.ecticut statute #_________ (*) as outlined over at http://www.constitution.org/juris/fjur/1fj-ba.htm and that she can file a Federal Petition for an Habeas Corpus release to that U.S. District Court*  in _______, CT , based upon the fact that they are smarter down there in the state slogan: "Constitution State", as for gaining jurisdiction, that is lacking up here in backward/ Federal hicks-in-the-sticks New Hampshire that the Feds here treat us as their own Plantation slaves rather than citizens in a state of the union!

I'll be sending out a packet of materials on this to Elaine on Tuesday when the Post Office re-opens after this Federal Columbus Day weekend.

Yours truly, - - Joe

* Or District Court of the United States (re: armlaw's call on this; to differentiate between the corporate and the constitutional, him with the case of: _____________ that he gave to Joyce Finney, of Legislative Accounting, in the NW Office, 1st Floor,  State House in Concord, N.H. to prove that Constitutional Officers are not "employees", and so do NOT have to pay into Social Security.  The AOC says that McAuliffe is an Art. III judge, but pays into S/S! This is an impossibility!  Dick: Can you give us this case name and numbers?)

(*) Note: there is NO Connecticut state statute requiring a double filing (like here in N.H. with the Office of SofS, or like in MAss. to the governor's office -- neither of which Feds in this and that state or Commonwealth of MAss. are in compliance with the law, and so withOUT jurisdiction) beyond the Registrar of Deeds!  Wow! This is good news!  All the Feds have to do in Conn. is to acquire by purchase, with evidence in the form of a deed, etc. under Title LVII, chapter 360, section 7172.  Thank you "very" much Attorney Larry Beecraft for supplying us with this state-by-state information! Now hopefully (and with prayers and petitions) some attorney will come to the rescue of Danny, and set a precident for Ed & Elaine too, plus of course Bob, Jason and Reno to follow on their coattails. See pages 136-137 @ page 9 of 76 on the 90% printout.

Hello all.  It looks like Ed Brown is getting "diesel therapy".  Last I heard he had been removed from the "bucket" (small prison) in Kentucky where he had been dropped off.

You may have heard that jailed 77-year old tax resister Irwin Schiff had a toe amputated due to being required to wear work boots 2 sizes too small (did I mention he's 77 years old?), and getting no medical treatment until gangrene set in.  So the description below may sound familiar.  This is an excerpt; the entire article is worth reading:
Quotehttp://www.uwsa.com/Uwsadisclosure.prison.html

Congressman Hansen was one of the first members of Congress to point a finger at the IRS. In the late 70s he wrote a book called "To Harass Our People". He was the first to get a full scale investigation into the crimes of the IRS against the American people. His outrage over what he discovered caused him to write and help pass the "Taxpayers Bill of Rights." Without George Hansen, the IRS would be the American equal to the Gestapo by now.
...
The harassment and torture that befell Congressman Hansen came from prison officials, in the form of neglect for serious medical problems and health hazards in the prison work place. The torture also came from the Federal Marshals who cruelly transported him from one prison to another.

Political prisoners (ED: Political prisoners? In America?? You betcha!!!) and those who are considered trouble makers arc given what prisoners call, "diesel therapy". "Diesel therapy" consists of being put on diesel buses or airplanes and being transported from prison to prison for weeks and months at a time (ED: ALL at the expense of the taxpayers!).

On the surface it sounds benign. What could be the problem with making a prisoner ride in a bus for hours at a time?

Torture American Style

Before the prisoner is put on the bus, he is put in handcuffs and shackles (leg irons). The handcuffs are tightened by a black box that stiffens the chains and puts the wrists in a 90 degree bind that painfully cuts circulation and damages the nerves. It takes several weeks for the circulation and nerves to return to normal. The handcuffs are connected with chains to a waist chain, which is in turn connected by another chain to the shackles which go around the ankles The prisoner can barely move once the shackling process is complete.

He is then placed in a small seat on a bus or airplane. (ED: George Hansen is a BIG man, standing well over 6'-3" and -- before his ordeal -- tipping the scales at well over 220 pounds.) Because of the shackles, the prisoner is forced to sit in one position for up to 20 hours at a time. And the guards will rarely go to the trouble of unshackling a prisoner. Prisoners who understand "diesel therapy" know that "fasting" is the only way to handle the ordeal without messing or wetting yourself.

But even those who are smart enough to abstain from food and drink, still have to suffer the stench of urine and feces which soon fills the bus or plane.

One other painful aspect of diesel therapy is the shoes that prisoners are forced to wear. They become too small. The cramped position and tight shackles cause the feet and ankles to swell. The shackles cut into the legs and cut off circulation. The blood pools in the feet and causes the feet to swell. The toes are forced up against the tops of the too small shoes, and unbelievable pressure is put on the toenails. The toenails soon become deformed, infected and painful.

Each day the metal shackles are put back onto raw and infected legs before the prisoner boards the bus. After weeks and months of diesel therapy, the ankles and shins have raw, infected and open wounds that will not heal.

Hour after hour, the prisoner sits in a cramped & painful position, with shackles cutting into already infected, raw flesh. Arthritis and bursitis compound the misery of the prisoners. The ingrown, infected toenails, which are jammed inside of purposely small shoes, cripple the prisoner to the point that he can barely walk or move when he is finally released from the shackles.

During the weeks and months of diesel therapy, the prisoner is out of contact with the rest of the world. In the case of Congressman Hansen, his wife did not know if he was dead or alive. His lawyer could not find him and therefore could not file court papers on time. Even the members of congress who were still trying to help him, could not locate him. During his "diesel therapy" he disappeared into the black hole dug and run by the United States Marshals.

After "diesel therapy", Hansen was forced to operate on his feet himself. His toenails were so deformed that they pointed straight up. He could not wear shoes without excruciating pain. The only remedy that was open to him was to pull the toenails out by the roots. Our prisoners of war in SE Asia had their fingernails and toenails pulled out by their torturers. Congressman Hansen had to become his own torturer in an effort to stop the pain.

You guys can know personally the people who are being kidnapped and read stuff like Ahmed's "diesel therapy" post and NOT start making lists and hunting down jackals? Amazing. You must be saints.

Sort of a sudden introduction. I've been lurking on this thread as a non-member for quite a while now. Some of you may know my blog, which I've run since sometime in 1999.

I mostly hang out in the Mental Militia Forums, formerly Claire Wolfe's forums, but  I read this thread every day.

I'm not currently making lists or hunting down any maggots. Still have young children, so until the threat becomes personal, I won't be going to war. When it does, however, I very well may.

I wish you luck in your peaceful revolution. You'll need it.

Wrong Ed Brown.

Isn't there enough melodrama in this mess without speculating that Ed is being tortured or murdered?

I don't see it as being saints (although a few are close), on the moral side if we become murdering bastards to defeat the murdering bastards what have we won. On the pragmatic side, violence will just grow the state.

There is more than two ways to skin the cat. This is an asymmetrical situation, we have to be clever. We need the rest of the nation to see who the purveyors of violence are.

I stopped going along with this BS 20 years ago. They don't own me. When a significant number of the freedom movement realizes it is time to say we will not go along willingly the change won't be far behind.

Update on Danny:

My visit to him this afternoon, was where he showed me his papers that included his copy of The Habeas Corpus Petition that he sent out Wednesday for a Thursday postmark, and so must have gotten to the Strafford County Superior Court in Dover that Friday for a Case #07-E-___ with Notice of Hearing maybe for the court to mail to Danny on Tuesday for a Thursday or Friday hearing, within the usual three (3) days. Copies sent also to: The County Attorney, the Superintendent (courtesy copy), and me.

The seal of the Notary, Ann Fornier was there and her signature in blue ink on Danny's copy, back-dated to when he signed it away from her having never seen the act of his signing.  But as they say: no harm, no foul. In fact the Notaries by RSA Ch. _____ are supposed to turn in their record books when they retire, but that that statute hasn't been enforced in decades, so Bill Gardner, the S of S told me #__ years ago. Maybe with the "may" word, I forget.

The other papers were some Motions into the Federal Court on his case.  Too bad he doesn't have access to a word processor or typewriter as they have (or had?) at Grafton County Jail when I was there back in the 1990s. The facility gives Danny white unlined paper and a black pen to write, but writing to nowhere fast, as their latest tactic is to DENY him the envelopes to send them out!

There's a library there, but you've got to ask for which books you want delivered from the Law Library.  Such as The "Black Law Dictionary" he had at the visiting window today, borrowed for #__ days from Reference, and he pointed out to me that Anomalous Jurisdiction phrase on page #___ that I had not heard before, because IF your attorney does NOT file a "Special Appearance" it is presumed that you agree to the jurisdiction of the court, a point he recommended that I get over to Jason to either have his federally-appointed attorney amend his filing with the word: Special, or fire him too, like what Danny did.  Me asking if he'd be replaced by another one, he doesn't know yet.  His Motions for Depositions of the two agents: Matthew and Luke LNU/ Last names unknown (as in Mark + John too in the Bible?), and others including Ed & Elaine themselves! The book cart of fiction and non-fiction books makes the rounds once a week.

There's a strategy I won't tell you about for either his state or federal case, until after it's done so as not to tip them/ the opposition off ahead of time.

The http://www.unionleader.com newspaper gets around the cell block, but two weeks late, and so on Tuesday to see about getting a weekday subscription to him of that, and maybe the local paper too: The http://www.fosters.com for "The Foster's Daily Democrat" where I'm to advertise for an attorney to help him in his case(s).  I placed an ad in "The Penny Saver" once in Plymouth, and got a reply from the attorney's business partner, who took my case and found a case-law that I had never read before.

The inmates were just hanging around the place today, most with their headsets on, watching +/or listening to the football game, and in color! v.s. I remember back in 1984 my second time locked up (after the 1st for 10 days) for 62 days, and wow! was it amazing to see color again when I got out.

Yours truly, -- Joe

P.S. He likes the papers I send for reading.  About a dozen already made ready for the photocopy and envelope to mail to him on Tuesday, that'll include that "Marshal Stupidy" one here, and that great post by "Free Mexican-Not Stamped" in Reply #6071 on Today/Sunday, Oct. 7th @ 4:15 PM about "From Lysander Spooner's Trial by Jury (1852)" over from http://www.lysanderspooner.org/bib_new.htm Thank you. I just finished viewing Monier's press conference. A few thoughts come to mind.

1. Monier twice made reference to Ed and Elaine being tried by "a jury of their peers". I did not know that the guilty verdict was arrived at by a jury. Is that true?

They had a jury who was instructed to ignore the Brown's evidence as to the legality of the income tax as it's currently being applied.

By what authority were they "Instructed" ?

I thought that was called JURY TAMPERING ?
