As for Driving Licenses, I'll put it to you this way, and maybe then you'll understand. When the day comes that some jackass crashes their car into your 18 year old daughters car, and it turns out that they didn't have a drivers license, and on top of that, they provided the cops with false information about who they were, then you too will be mad as a hornets nest because as your daughter walks around crippled for the rest of her life, the son of a bitch who was irresponsible and not even man enough to own up to the fact that they just ruined someone else's life, walks away.

And if this jackass had a driver's license, I guess I wouldn't be mad. No, wait—I guess the accident would've been impossible in the first place. After all, the gummint said he knew how to drive.

My exwife had a car totalled in CA by a 15 year old Mexican. The DL laws didn't help her.
I have driven off with just a ticket with a suspended license in CA. I had attained mexican status. :)
I don't want to tell people they can or cannot drive a car. So I don't want to pay for or support a government that does.

Why do you think we don't allow 10 year olds to drive?
My parents drove cars under 10 ... and they lived in a mostly "civilized society".

Come on man, you make it sound like she is in Abu-grabe (sp?).
She could be. They won't tell us what is happening in there. I am assuming the worst.
They use attack dogs in some prisons to extract them from cells and other compliance issues.

Why do you think we don't allow 10 year olds to drive?
Because they're too short to reach the pedals?

Oh, you didn't want logical reasons, you wanted artificial government reasons.  Okay:

Because they don't have the cash to buy one?

Seriously, there is nothing "magical" about age 16.  It's not like children wake up on their 16th birthday and suddenly decide they know how to drive and they're responsible.  As others have pointed out -- we made it for decades without this age limit on driver licenses.

Arrest video up... Jim's video, 40 mins. condensed into 10 mins.

I could use some input on the title, description, and keywords. (I am not the wordsmith)

They still haven't made the picture for the poster frame.

After that we need to get links in front of other people via forums etc.
I need to get back to work.

(Jim I'll give you your camera original tape back soon)

Dave Ridley

great work tom
jim your video was more interesting than you gave it credit for being
good work.

probably next time it might help to turn the interior vehicle light on so as to be able to see lauren.  hopefully they won't do this again however.

that is a very good video ... it was very uncomfortable when the cops stood watch over Jim. Jim had not initiated the situation ... he was just a victim of the thugs like Lauren.

Tom Sawyer

Jim handled the situation very well. It was good that he was able to use the camera. They behaved themselves knowing they were being recorded and they could see his hands were occupied.

A most outstanding VDO.     ;D   :greatest work ever: :production oscar:

At's what a great VDO should be, it was almost better than being there.

Tom Sawyer

I'm sure it is better than being there.  ;) Being there pretty much sucked I'm sure.

You guys did the deed, I just tried to package it for general consumption.
