Great videos, Dave.

Were you able to get the car released, Jim?

Bald Eagle

Jim is a cool cucumber.  Well done, and EXCELLENT questions.

This incident helps to clearly establish that there is a separate, privileged ruling class, I don't know what does.

Should she have a D.L.? Yes. Why, simple, it shows that she is competent enough to operate such a machine. Personally, I think you should be tested every 2 years to maintain your Driving Privileges only because I have seen WAY TOO MANY BAD drivers out there. NJ is full of them.
...

Now I understand the idea of freedom to do whatever you want, wherever you want, etc. But an automobile, just like a knife, gun, hand grenade, etc, if not respected and operated properly, can (and does) often result in the deaths of people and large amounts of property damage...

From a moral perspective, it is absolutely not the government's job to decide for me whether I am competent to do anything.  To do so infringes my basic right to exercise my own judgement, no matter how good or bad my track record may be.  (I might add that I care not one iota about the "legal" perspective -- wherever the law infringes on my unalienable rights, it simply amounts to someone else wrongfully imposing their will on me.)

The origin of every single victimless crime law is the notion that it is somehow the government's job to usurp the basic right of an individual to exercise her own judgement and personal choice in a matter.  The undeniable fact is, where there is no victim, there is no crime.  Period.

When someone actually creates a victim, whether intentionally or as a result of exercising poor judgement, that person should be held fully responsible for his actions if he doesn't make good on his own.  Prior to that, the State has no business entering the picture whatsoever, except perhaps to issue guidelines for responsible conduct on a strictly take-it-or-leave-it basis.  Anything beyond that is a manifestation of the nanny state, and constitutes the precise point where freedom begins to disappear.

A wise man once said, "Those who would give up Essential Liberty to purchase a little Temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety."  Those words are as true today as when they were first uttered.

Frame, rollers of some kind, perhaps scruffed up PVC, pulley(s) motor and piece of rope to connect them.  Jim can do it.

WMUR channel 9 showed up to today's protest, and Natalie was interviewed. They said it would be broadcast tonight (2007-10-06) on the 11PM news.

Sheep Fuzzy Wool

There is no crime commited seen from here. I didn't see anyone screaming or crying at "Lauren," or to the officers on the video provided on this thread to say she hurt or damaged anyone or anything.
Where is the claim?
Damage?
Pre-emptive claims?

I once new a man who sat in jail for over two months for an alleged happening that never happened.
Because he had a "license," he was held till his bond was lowered..  His health was deteriorating because the crappy food fed to him.  Although, it was free.
Days went by and he noted natives (ones who live across the whole of North America and frequently migrate) who had no license, ever, were only held till the next morning and released.  There is no law to hold them anymore time, unless there is a claim or damage to someone or their property.   But...having a license or even ever having had one will buy anyone who is not guilty of a damage claim to sit and eat the comfy food served to them by the host, your local privatized jail program, wishing to make the world a safer place for all of us, or atleast a couple of federal reserve meal tickets and a job for someone interested in a a job that requires one not to think, but take orders.

"make you feel comfortable." "make you feel comfortable." "make you feel comfortable." "make you feel comfortable." "make you feel comfortable."

What happened to the man who sat in jail for over two months?  The day of the trial, as the jury stood in a well formed line just outside the courtroom, the state attorney was handed a note from the public defender who was handed the note from the man...whispering began...the judge asked what was going on....the state attorney and the public defender did not answer the judge..yet..the public defender came back and told the man, "The state is willing to drop the charges if you choose to not sue the state."
The man who was weak from his own health situation and not eating nutritional food, agreed the the offer.
He signed a piece of paper, he walked out the door, past the well formed line of jurors and said to them, "Just saving taxpayer dollars!"  He continued to walk and left the building.
It turns out this type of situation (being held in jail, till the day of trial and released because there is no claim, but if they think you are dumb enough to believe it, the game continues)  is frequent, as the man had been told at a later time. Judges, officers, lawyers, public defendents, state attorneys get paid to play this game for the jury of our peers.

People are becoming aware. Perception is changing.  A police state is showing its face.

I'm on board with the thing.  Who big should the thing be?

V came by...

...as did a dog!

We moved to face the Soviet style edifice.

Last, we moved around to the front.

Here is a 100% crop from the above image of our friends keeping an eye on us. I guess there was no work to be done.

Finally, here is a portrait of Dave.
