The death of a family member or friend does cause one to think about things.

I think we are all immortal, we just shape shift, next stop for my physical being = dirt.  After that I believe I'll sprout new life,  I'm high in nitrogen so I'm betting it'll be pretty green.

I'm pretty sure we all get recycled at some point and we all become part of the next big bang in a billion years or two.   Of course spiritually I wouldn't mind coming back sooner though....maybe as a hobbit or something in some parallel world.  I'm working on the hairy toe thing already.

If I'm wrong about what happens when people die and I go to a warmer climate, the devil will have his hands full.  I'm sure Lloyd and I will devise a plan to go awol at some point, he's probably already casing the joint knowing him.

The day before he died Lloyd, Jerry and I hung out and had a good time.  Ironically, one of our discussions was about how we'd like our remains to be handled when we died etc.   Lloyd was kidding about making a re-usable pine box that could be used by everybody when it was their turn, I opted for being composted. Jerry chided me about my plans for recycling myself due to the potential for getting my heirs in trouble, you know due to the laws regarding handling dead people etc.  I reminded them both that  I wanted my last act to be breaking one more stupid law, Lloyd seemed to like that idea.

As I was giving Lloyd a ride home, he seemed full of future plans, our conversation centered on things he wanted to do etc.

I don't know if we can do it or not, but I think at Apple fest he might enjoy a final potato gun salute.  He liked those kinds of things...

That's an awesome memory, Bob. Mind if I repost it to the fedbook memorial?
