Saturday, October 20:

Jeremy Olson's step dad, Fran, has very generously volunteered to lead a crew to insulate the crawl space at Peaceful Assembly Church on Saturday, October 20.
We need about a half dozen volunteers to help get this done.
Peaceful Assembly Church will feed the crew.
We'll have Peaceful Assembly Comfort food, soda, coffee, etc.

We will also need to borrow at least 3 heavy duty staple guns.

Please volunteer to help us.
Thanks,
John

Wish I could afford to come help out.

If we end up with more volunteers than are needed for the insulation project, Peaceful Assembly Church has several smaller projects which can be MUCH easier done with more hands.

If we end up with lots of folks, it will turn into a big Autumn in Grafton Center Party. :)

i mentioned this on facebug but not here:

"i'm putting EVERYTHING i have into Peaceful Assembly Church - which i purchased as an asset for the community.
i try not to ask for help, but i NEED help for this!
THANKS for considering this request!"

John

Long grain brown rice and free range, grass fed, beef

with diced tomatoes (in basil, garlic, and oregano sauce)

short cut green beans, sliced carrots, whole kernel sweet corn

and some Rome style tomato sauce

(Peaceful Assembly Comfort food - 2morrow.)

Wow! THANKS to those who helped. What a crew.

...update after resting... a VERY long rest...

what a day

John

seems the work never ends.

i'm heading to HD for more supplies... and they are coming back for ROUND 2!

this is MUCH more important than just the physical labor!!!

IT IS UPLIFTING to know one has friends who are willing to help - even when the work is dirty and tiring...
