Yeah, if I had supernatural powers I wouldn't cry about stuff, I'd just take care of it.
Maybe Jesus' family is overly sensitive and they have to cry for three or four days before they do anything.
Lazarus had to be dead for three or four days before Jesus raised him back up; and Jesus had to spend three days dead before Dad decided to pick him up.  That would explain why there is a lot in action on so many issues like lottery winning and snow days, two of the most prayed for events.
