Update on Russell's NH  docket: 1:11-mj-00071-LM-1

12/22/2012        Arrest of Russell M. Kanning in Western District of Missouri. (ko) (Entered: 12/26/2012)

No change on the TX docket.

This would seem to indicate the NH case will be heard first and Russell is either in or on the way to NH.

NH Feds never seemed willing to pay for my trip to Concord and dropped fine sometime this week.

Cole Co. Jail says Russell isn't there any more.  I guess they moved him again?

got dragged to KC federal court holding area then on to private hoding jail in leavenworth ks to await plane trip to OKC
spent week in seg for hassling federal marshal during strip searches of detainees.

Well, scratch Leavenworth, he's no longer there.

flew conair to OKC airport
they have 6 story tall jail on the tarmac with own terminal
stayed 12 hours

He's still not in Waco yet, as far as I can determine, but they have set a court appearance at Waco Federal Court Jan. 17th, 14:00.

got there on wednesday after 11 hours in shackles with the rest of the tranferring prisners.

I'm so sorry for what you're being put through, Kat.  It's just petty and mean that they don't allow Russell to speak to you by phone, so you at least know where he is.    Hang in there; you'll get him back eventually.

actually i kept wondering why he wanted to know about my job and not talk about the case. i guess he wanted to know i was just a normal person.

Some family friends and some liberty activists from Dallas attended.  I should be able to get back to TX next Thursday to be there.

Wish i could physicaly be there.

I am there in spirit - - - and I'm wearing some orange to support the prisoner.

Copying from another thread from someone who was there: "Mr. Kanning appeared to be in good health and spirits, though in typical Federal fashion he was chained at the hands and feet. He plead guilty or true for a bond violation, and that was pretty much it. When the judge asked if he had been coerced or forced or manipulated into entering a guilty plea he chided, "No, but they sure have for other stuff!" The judge revoked bond until his proceedings for the terrible chalking crime take place, about a week from now I believe."

i guess someone was there but i didnt know they were there for me.

time served 42 days for disobeying an officer. i was guilty of that.
had first real food for a month
