It's boiling hot in FL.  How do you stand it, PatK?

When the wind changed from the S/W to the N/W this evening
I packed up my fishing pole and ran like a sissy.
Too cold.

Tom Sawyer

Good news about the other half of Team Jesus getting back on the road.

Although they get to avoid dealing with the whole 1st amendment issue and punish him as well. I suppose his presence probably had a positive effect on those around him...

....and talked his ear off about truck driving.

Serves him right for being a lawyer.  They only half listen to anything anybody says anyway.

It had a positive effect on me.  I've got a lot to be grateful to Russell.

The guy's actually nice for a lawyer.  And I think the judge picked him specifically for Russell for that reason.

From Facebook:

Copying from another thread from someone who was there: "Mr. Kanning appeared to be in good health and spirits, though in typical Federal fashion he was chained at the hands and feet. He plead guilty or true for a bond violation, and that was pretty much it. When the judge asked if he had been coerced or forced or manipulated into entering a guilty plea he chided, "No, but they sure have for other stuff!" The judge revoked bond until his proceedings for the terrible chalking crime take place, about a week from now I believe."

Dave Ridley

whoever shot the images of the russell arrest, could you contact me and give me permission to use all the images you publicly upload?  On the Ridley Report?  Thanks....

Kat Kanning

Sure, sent you an email, Dave.

I didn't find the video very interesting.  Just a guy giving his opinion.

ARG!!!  I think sometime during the arrest, Russell's wallet with his credit cards must have been dropped.  I just looked at the bank account, -$300!  When I realized that I didn't have his wallet with the other stuff from his pockets, I figured he just still had it, and it was with his possessions in jail.  No such luck.  Charges from NM, which I haven't been to for months.

Maybe the thugs stole it from him, when they stole him from us.

It does look like it was a truck driver who picked it up, cause the charges are at truck stops all over.  It's weird, some are at places I was just at...so I wondered if I had accidentally used that account, but I checked and it was his bank card.

Kat Kanning

...like one was at Petro in Effingham, IL 2 days ago, and I was there yesterday at the Flying J.

Kat Kanning

Spoke with the claims people at the bank for a long time.  I guess we'll see if they reimburse us.
