I've been waiting five years for this.
Fairpoint has finally installed the digital switching needed for DSL in the box down the road.

I signed up today, it will be installed Sept 6.
7 Mb speed for $46/mo.

I'm currently paying $50 to Verizon for a netcard with a 5GB limit per month. (can't even watch Youtube without going over the limit)
Before that I was using dialup (oh, the pain...)

So tell everyone who said they can't move to southern Grafton because they need the internet that we have finally moved into the 20th century.  ;D

One of the reasons I started calling Grafton "literally-the-middle-of-nowhere" was because everyone around us had cell phone and internet but not so much here.

Sounds like maybe you're in the deep dark center of the-middle-of-nowhere.

Someone accused me of doing that with pixels, the other day.  I burned up at least ten billion that day.
