We could have an indoor one at the Keene Rec center ..... Dawn would have to make the reservations. :)

If a place is secured, and the proceeds go to LSF, I will work the event and donate all my stuff.

Kat Kanning

Wow, now that's dedication!  Cathleen is donating all her possessions!

Pat McCotter

Sounds like a cult! Quick, call the deprogramming squad!

I can't get excited when a government employee loses his job.
Maybe we could just get rid of the whole thing.

Normally, neither do I, but, There are some Washington state employees being fired because they refuse to pay dues to a union they didn't want.

Russell Kanning

Well then ..... let's go get 'um.

I say ... get a real job.

One is fireman/ paramedic in Haverhil, MA.? Lifesaving business at first responder level is a choosen field.? I would eliminate fat cat bureaucrats before cutting any fire/rescue personnel anywhere.?

I would not.  There is no need for a fireman to work for the government.  Private fireman are better and cheaper and vol. fireman are free.

I do, however, agree with you.  Russell is just too principled.  These people should not have been fired, but what do you expect from the government.  You have no right to work.

Pat McCotter

Volunteer firemen are not free. They require training and equipment.

Correct.  I meant that they do not charge the government hourly pay.

What about instead publicizing someone who has done something positive?  I'm sometimes reluctant to give free publicity to bad guys even if it is bad publicity.

Kat Kanning

We'd have to pick someone outside of government to promote.  We're aren't going to find anyone doing good inside office.

I nominate Kat and Russell to be spotlighted this month. (Jan.) :)
