What are some other places we should send news releases of this kind?  Not just web forums but anywhere that we can send things to get the word out (Alex Jones, for example) I'd like to see a huge list.

The Free State Project, Etc.

Well, it's official. At least one of us (possibly more) has bitten the bullet and finally decided to join the Free State Project! The West Coast is really getting way too expensive and socialist for libertarians, especially in recent years- ergo New Hampshire! For those readers interested in political action and protest, check out the local NH Underground organization. They have been doing some pretty cool things out there, and this is a major factor in choosing NH to make a stand for liberty.

Winning converts 'one at a time' is what will work and in the long haul is unstoppable.

The schemes to do it on a very large scale seem to implode.
Many of the participants are thinking that someone else will save them.

Action speaks much loader than words.

To the brave, the bold, the pioneers...

There's gonna be a BIG PARTY!!!!!

Don't tell Elizabeth, she still thinks the whole FSP is a complete failure. We'd be successful, I guess, if everyone would stay in their home states recruiting more people who say they'll move, but people who actually move are just being selfish. (I think I got that right...  :confused2: )

no.. they are discussing hiring a PR firm to get publicity.
Russell maybe you should ask for the money?  You get them more news then they do.

I almost posted there that they could give a few crazy activists a $1000 each and they could get some publicity. :)

Sending this mini press release to the web forums below.

NH: More Free Staters arrested in spat with Feds

Interested to get your web forum's take on this:

Manchester, New Hampshire
Feb. 14, 2006

Two New Hampshire Free Staters chose arrest last week rather than allow themselves to be herded into a "Free Speech Zone" while the President was in Manchester. One of the protesters was carrying a sign advocating New Hampshire secession, both were in a non-secure area where civilians were milling around unmolested.

Manchester Union Leader article (link is split into two lines):

+protesters+gather&articleId=ff16795b-bd46-4bc7-bc0d-619d8f8946fc

Free Staters (www.FreeStateProject.org) are libertarian activists who move to New Hampshire from other parts of the country because they consider it the state with the most freedom. About 150 have moved here since 2003, with 7,000 more pledged to follow.
