A banner just appeared on Russia Today saying Prime Minister Azarov has resigned.

Update:  I see on the Russia Today website that the President has not yet accepted the Prime Minister's resignation.  http://rt.com/news/ukrainian-minister-azarov-resigns-286/ .  The Russia Today website puts both the Published Time (Greenwich) and the updated time (this story was updated at 5:03 AM Eastern time).  The most recent edit time is great detail to incorporate into developing news stories that most American news outlets neglect.

I see that Russia Today's website has a "live updated" page for Ukraine news developments here: http://rt.com/news/kiev-protest-clashes-updates-862/ .

Russia Today's America is streamed here:  http://www.zahistations.net/watch-russia-today-rt-live .  If you haven't found Max Keiser's nightly business report, or Tomm Hartman's The Big Picture, you should.

Russia Today has been covering the protests and demonstrations almost as intensively as Al Jazeera English had covered the Arab Spring uprisings.  Al Jazeera English broadcasts and transmissions to the United States were discontinued when Al Jazeera made a deal with the major cable companies to replace Current TV with Al Jazeera America, which is a version of Al Jazeera that has been Americanized similar to the way BBC America Americanizes the BBC news channel.  Al Jazeera America has hired a bunch of washed up or fired American cable TV hosts to seem more palatable to the American TV mainstream audience.  At present, the only American has-been on Russia Today is Larry King, whose weekday interviews air at 9:00 PM and are repeated at 11:00.

For those of you not familiar with Russia Today, America, it is basically a Communist or Socialist version of Fox News, including smarmy news babes who bash capitalism instead of Communism.  On their coverage features regarding Ukraine yesterday, they kept emphasizing that the penalties against both peaceful and violent protests in the United States, France and Britain are much more severe than they are in Ukraine.
