I'll be posting an event when I have a few minutes but want to get the word out now. Firecraker Joe, Joseph Roux got scooped up after PorcFest and has been locked up in Dover. He'll have a hearing in Concord at the Federal Court on Aug 25 at 10:00. He requested support at the hearing if you can attend, please do.

His is doing fine, no need for commissary funds.

No doubt, some sort of parole nonsense.

John

I'm going  to try to make this.
I recommend wearing something orange (even if just something small like earrings, wristband, or necktie) whenever going to court to support friends who will be also wearing orange.

l wear at least a little orange every day to always remind myself to think about (and in solidarity/support of) prisoners.

John

What prisoners?

Oh, just millions of them :(

Winner of the New England Narcotics Officers Association's award

WILLIAM "BILLY" YOUT MEMORIAL AWARD
William "Billy" Yout was a Special Agent with the DEA for 32 years. For 10 of those years Billy had been the Resident Agent in Charge of the Manchester, NH Resident Office. As a leader, he instilled in his people the law enforcement traits he held in the highest regards, dedication, commitment, and teamwork. His legacy lives on today within the DEA New Hampshire Office.   :P

Yup.

I try to NEVER say "my friends' trial or hearing" or "my trial...," but rather "their trail or hearing against" whoever their victim is.

At the beginning of the Lebanon district court's trail against me, on an allegation of not stopping at a sign where there wasn't even anyone around who could have been harmed, I alluded to (directly to the new judge in town) the fact that "the court" is not here for "justice," but rather as one more arm of "law enforcement."  :(

I guess I didn't notice his facebook postings stopped

Is there a FB "event?"

Thanks for posting. Joe sounded like he was taking it all in stride, happy that the state is wasting money keeping him caged. He's expecting 4-10 months of free room and board, hoping to get up to Berlin near his mother.

He has an attorney and is OK on commissary funds.

What did Joe do to have his leash yanked?   Did he start acting like he owned himself or something ?   He's such a nice guy to talk to, I can't imagine he harmed anybody or committed any kind of a real crime.

I'm beginning to think maybe this isn't the land of the free.   I wonder if the person that was "supervising" him has some kind of psychological issues and maybe isn't as nice a person as Fire Cracker Joe is.

Jim Johnson

I believe the reason is, that he went to Porcfest and had contact with people who do guns and pots and beers.

When I invited people to drop by when we first moved up here, I included Joe, even though we'd never met in person. He was pleased at the invitation, but politely declined because of the job I had at the time (which I understand perfectly).

Now that I'm earning an honest living instead, if he does get up to the Berlin area, we'll have to get in touch.

Set to friends and friend's friends.
