Here is the blurb on Shire Sharing from the Peaceful Assembly Church
(PAC) Board meeting last night. Thank you to all who helped out!

-----
Jeremy Olson reported we received thirteen packages from Amanda Bouldin
to distribute in Grafton. Eleven were delivered, as we discovered two
were for people we gave to last year who no longer live in town. John
Connell, Rich Angell, and Jeremy assembled the baskets this morning.
John Connell and two friends of the Church, John & Carol ___, delivered
four baskets, and Chan Cao and Tom Ploszaj attempted to deliver the
remaining seven later Sunday afternoon. Chan said a couple packages
remain to be delivered on Monday, as he could not find those houses in
the dusk. Chan said he received a very positive reception from several
recipients. Chan also helped out in Sunday with the Manchester
deliveries and said people were very happy to receive packages.

Bob Hull delivered $40 to the PAC, from Cindy Kudlik, to be donated for
Shire Sharing. Chan gave $60 to Amanda for directly. Mark Warden also
donated an amount, for Grafton. Amanda said Grafton's total costs
should be around $200.

Tom will let the Canaan Lions Club know about our stats from Shire
Sharing. The Lions, working with the Lutheran Ecumenical Council, do
their own basket deliveries for Thanksgiving in the Canaan–Enfield
area, and we told them we would be doing a similar project in Grafton
this year. We also need to prepare letters to the Ecumenical Council,
Millbrook Christian Fellowship, the Grafton Ladies' Benevolent
Society, and perhaps a few other organizations letting them know how we
did.

Two baskets remain to be used, as do many extra cans of green beans and
corn. Jeremy thinks he knows of at least one other family (of four) in
Grafton who could use a basket. The additional unused basket had been
partially disassembled and the items distributed into the other baskets
that were actually delivered.

If I missed anyone who helped out, let me know. I especially want to
make sure we get an accurate dollar figure of received donations in our
meeting minutes. Thanks.

btw: While our numbers may seem small, they actually compare quite well to other Shire Sharing efforts in other towns, as percentage of population.   :) <3 Peace

Wonderful. :)

We had already planned to get involved before our recent family tragedy, but that sad incident brought me into touch with people who are already doing much of the same up here nahth of the nahtch. :)

After the holidays, with winter fully set in, we will definitely start working with them.

an obviously sustainable in Grafton, since they got plenty of funding :)
