I recently visited NH and met with many of the people involved in the freedom movement there. It was more than refreshing to see people willing to fight for that in which they believe. There are many advantages to this attitude but i took some issue with a few things i heard and didn't hear. I red in the article that John Burger spends time trying to convince people to support the horriblytragic war in Iraq. There are no positives to this war that i can see. 1200 dead americans who died "liberating" people who never sked us to be there. There may have been reasond to hate Saddam but no substance for an argument for war. Especially one of this magnitude. Som estimates have revealed that as many as 100.000 Iraqis have died because of this war. These are people just like us who have nothing to do with saddam or any groups that might hate america. These are normla people just like us. Men Women and Children minding their own business and are now dead because of Bush and his Fanatical crusaid to force christianity, control all the oil on the planet, and kill everyone brown.
I hope that this idea is not one prevelent in NH as that would be a huge deturrant from my involvement in any movement there at all. As of now i am proud to have met you all and for all i learned from you. I think it is absolutely to see a group of people who are on the side of the American people and that are willing to fight tooth and nail and let the consequenses be damned. I am just concerned that Peace may not be as much a part of the attiutude as it should be. Thank you all for your hospitality and if i find my self in the area anytime soon you can all expect a visit. Thank you again

Hello Sidney,
What article about John Burger? I don't know who he is.

Lloyd Danforth

Most of the Freedom Oriented people I have met in NH are against the War In Iraq and all interventionist wars.  They believe that we should get our oil thru trade in Free Market.

The article was the one about the flag burning.
It was my experience as well that most people were against the war but the mention just roused a bit of consern.

I think, at the Flag Burning, the arguments against the UN were 'keep your hands off of our citizen's guns', you cost the US too much and you are a bunch of crooks!'
While I'm sure some members of the FSP hate the UN because they didn't back us up in Iraq, but, I don't think hating the UN and the War are exclusive.
I think we should get out of the UN for a number of reasons. We pay too large a part of their budget.  Most of the decisions of the UN go against the US. The UN has been inefectual in stopping War Lords and Dictators, primarily in Africa, from causing the starvation of their own people. Their Members  breaking the law, has been an ongoing insult to the city of New York.

Oh yeah....he was our first visitor to the UN Flag burn. He supports the troops in Iraq. The UN Flag burn was only about hating the UN not necessarily anything else. You will also find, inside places like the NH Underground, political parties and the FSP, both pro and anti war individuals. I wouldn't say that necessarily represents NH. :)
