for who?

Me?    :'( :'( :'(     ;D

....if the engine fits.

I like to think I'm a 426 Hemi... It sucks to realize I'm a 307 Chevy.    ;D

Take heart good sir, that was a dang good motor!   Had one in my '68 Impala way back when.

307's all had a weak cam shaft.

A town I lived in, the local cops had 307's in their cars. It was fun to watch the blue lights recede in the rearview as my big block clawed up the pavement.  ;D

I was recently in a cop car .... second time I have come out without handcuffs ... it was some lame SUV ... I don't think he could chase down anyone faster than my bigrig

Yeah probably, but it seemed a lot more ballsy than my next car, a 1971 Corolla that needed much patience going up a steep hill when loaded with cheap beer.   Plus I was trying to cheer Tom Sawyer up after you had been abusing him.  (smiley emoticon)

Please don't use pliers to make adjustments though, it's the wrong tool!

71 corolla ... wow

A friend gave it to me in the late seventies.  It could hit 70 if you picked the right down hill slope.

Russell Kanning

my friends Datsun could only do 35 up Parley's Canyon headed to Park City
my 70 LTD .... I think it might have had the 429 ... could go a bit faster
