Are we allowed to talk spoilers yet? Has everyone seen it?

I'd hold back on spoilers for at least another day or two.  Anyone who stops by and reads the Most Recent Posts is going to get slammed with Cylon-Speculationorama, OhNoSheDIDN'T, AutoNecroImmolation, etc. before they even notice that the word SPOILERS has been added to the thread title.

I haven't seen it yet. Probably some time tonight.

I can't Hulu it - their interface sucks so bad it doesn't load the videos.

grasshopper

I bet it's............ ;D
  Cool episode though.
  Intence.

Haven't you all ever heard of BitTorrent? :P

Yes, but it takes several days to download an episode using BitTorrent, and you have to find a decent one. Taking a few days to download a show, only to find out it isn't in 1080p or has commercials really sucks. But at least its better than Hulu (or SciFi.com's crapola viewer).

Days? Try under an hour. Unless of course you have dialup or something.

You must have some way of finding torrents that have good seeders. I just this morning finished downloading a movie that took over two weeks to download.

The way I think the system should work is:
1) the user searches for a show (say BSG)
2) the search results give a RSS feed that only feeds one torrent for each episode, in 1080p english, encoded well, in a standard open format, with a bunch of seeders
3) the torrent client automatically starts downloading shows as soon as they show up in the feed
4) the torrent client publishes an RSS feed of completed downloads

Friday

I just watched Friday's episode.  I love this show, but it's such a frakkin' downer!  I was already feeling low on Friday and figured an hour of BSG wouldn't help my mental health any.  I see I made the right decision by delaying.

Callie, you skanky ho!  I always disliked her.

Still confused on the twelfth cylon issue.

Friday

OMG!!!  Mental breakthrough on Friday's episode (not the mid-season premiere)!

Roslyn is not the dying leader who will lead the people to a new home.

So who is the dying leader? Adama?

I really have no idea what's going on in this episode.

Yes.  There were numerous signs:
-- he's taking some sort of medication
-- he's exhausted and in pain
-- he's soldiering on while Roslyn has bailed on leadership
-- he has made a promise to lead the people to a new home.  His original promise, to lead the people to Earth, was a lie; this one, he intends to keep.

I'm thinking Roslyn kicks the bucket soon (she's refusing her treatments and medication); Apollo will be President permanently; Adama will save humanity as his dying act.

Which still leaves many unanswered questions.

Was it just me, or is Gaius losing his faith again?  I sure hope so; he was so much more amusing when he was an atheist and boffing everything in sight (as opposed to when he's a man of God and boffing everything in sight).

Six and Saul are skeeving me out a little bit.

Puke

Good points. I'd like to see Roslyn die. I've never liked her.

dalebert

Saul's wife is going to return. She died before the resurrection ships were destroyed. She's gonna add some drama to that situation for sure.

I'm done stating the obvious. I'll go to bed now.

Puke

I'm starting to think that all humans are Cylon.

All the religious mumbo-jumbo in the show leads me to think that the Cylons are an allegory for rebirth/resurrection.

Who knows though, the show has been full of curve-balls before.
