By the way, this last episode was low on the romance and high on action, and political intrigue.

Awesome, I'll catch it tonight!  ^_^  We got power back Saturday night.

Wow, they are just killing off people on the Pegasis like mad!  Now, if I got hits right, Lee is going to the Pegasis to take command?  Or is it Adama...  I was pretty tired by then, so keeping my eyes open was not easy.

I find it interesting that they continue to keep the subtle romantic tangle of Starbuck and Lee going, a small undercurrent through out the plotline so far.  I like Kira, I just wish they would let her straighten out just a little bit.  They made her really take a nosedive in this season and I'd like to see her get out of that a little.

Baltar continues to amuse me, he seems to be getting more and more vilinous as we go, which is kind of fun.

The abotion thing was nice, it only makes sence really.  I'm suprised this didn't come up sooner.  Rosalin should have thought of that sooner really.  I mean you kook that many people up on ships, put them in a life or death situation, you're going to have a LOT of pregnancies.  Heck that happens NOW in the military.  I would have thought a ban on abortion would have come fairly early.

I can't WAIT for the next episode.  Boomer is still one of my favorite characters in the show and it looks as though she will continue to be torn between her Cylon self and her human experiences.  She'e pretty much the only reason why I hesitate to label all cylons "just" machines.  I think the Cylons messed up and that model a little too human.  The Sharon cylon was never this sympathetic a character.  You know she's duplicitous, there's no question.  But you also know Boomer is really a good "person".  I would be more than happy to see her be able to seperate herself from the cylons control and just live on the fleet.  Never going to happen, I'm sure, but it would be nice.  Poor girl, she can't help how she was programed.

Thespis

Lee is now Commander Lee Adama, in charge of the Pegasus.

Yeah, this week's episode should be pretty good.

I thought so.  Funny that Admiral Adama sin't taking the Pegasis, but I like it better that way acctually.  I like the Bucket and the Beast nicknames.  ^_^

Holy and sweet mother of God but that episode was awesome!  Have I mentioned that this show is coolness on a stick??

Who would have thought Number Six could be so cool!  I have to say that woman is a good actress.  And I just  :-* Boomer.  So good to see her.  I love the new direction they are taking with the Cylons, I can't wait to see the Season Finally!  This show is SO going in my DVD collection, as pitifully small as that is.

Any theories on the Ghosts of Number Six and Baltar?  I thought only Baltar had a thing in his head that was of Six but now it shows Six having one two...oddness.

BaRbArIaN

I think she got in such close contact with him that once she started having feelings she started getting into his head mentally, of course he got into her head the same way I imagine.  Fair is fair.  :-)

Thespis

Yeah, I'm still not sure how I feel about Baltar being in Six's head as well.

Also, we now know that what's-his-name that Starbuck fell for is still alive.

I wonder if Boomer and Six might end up joining the human resistance. I know they plan to lead a Cylon rebellion, but I doubt it'll be successful.

Hmm, I thought that maybe Boomer was going to go with that guy and join them since she's in trouble, or will be in trouble with the Cylons.

I find it interesting how alike the two (I'll call them ghosts for lack of a better term) ghosts of Baltar and Six are similarly cynical and apathetic.  They aren't really echos of themselves, so I have to wonder who or what they really are.  Or maybe it's just because they are mear observers that they are so caustic, but I don't know.  I didn't really think the Caprica Six would be such a sympathetic character because I considered her to have the same personality as the ghost version in Baltars head.  Apparently that was a misconception.  It should be interesting to see where they go with this.

Thespis

Six was very cold in the mini-series, so I think maybe her "death" is what changed her.

Six and Boomer will be in trouble once the memories of the Cylon they killed gets downloaded into a new body, which they knew would take some time because of all the Cylon's killed in the attack. My understanding that Six and Boomer would use that time to try and convince other Cylons that they might have done the wrong thing in trying to wipe out the human race. That's what I got out of it anyway.

You might be right about that, or more to the point, she thought her actions had killed the man she loved and that snapped her out of it, when death became real to her in the human sence of the word and not the Cylon reborn sence.

Yeah, that's what was said, I just remember thinking that Boomer would join the resistance while I was watching it.  A neat idea, considering that the God they talk about has an interesting paralell to the christian God of earth, IMHO.  Be interesting to know where the Cylons got that idea from, since that idea does not seem to originate with the humans of the colonies...

Another thought, the Cylon baby.  What's going to happen there?  The kids born, they think it died...makes sence.  The pres once again makes a logical and good choice, but I have to wonder if that kid wasn't programed like Boomer was...

Programming note: Tonight's season finale will be 90 minutes long.

That is all.

next episode in OCTOBER? i have to wait THAT LONG?

BaRbArIaN

Yeah its ridiculous how long they take to make a few eps.   I thought the wait until July was bad for SG and Atlantis, sheesh.

Anyone else here hoping "one year later" turns out to be a dream sequence?   :-\
