Sure, it's Kat's site, and she likes he.net.  Sadly, he.net won't add alias domains to their dns server, so nhfree.com and nhunderground.com are forwarding to soulawakenings.com.  The only real downside to this is when you start clicking on articles on the site or on the forum having come in from nhfree or nhunderground, the true address doesn't show up in your address bar, just the nhfree.com or nhunderground.com url.  This makes it more difficult to click on an article and then cut and paste it to send to someone else.  If you're web savy enough to right click a link and copy the address the url will be soulawakenings.com.

Just use http://forumnazis.com

It gets you past all the crap pages, and brings you right to the forum  ;)

QuoteFrom the wayback machine:
Quote
The Free State Project is a plan in which 20,000 or more liberty-oriented people will move to a single state of the U.S. to secure a free society there. We will accomplish this by first reforming state law, opting out of federal mandates, and finally negotiating directly with the federal government for appropriate political autonomy. We will be a community of freedom-loving individuals and families, and create a shining example of liberty for the rest of the nation and the world.

But let's look at the original:

QuoteThe Free State Project is a plan by which a critical mass of libertarian voters relocate to an underpopulated state and electorally take control of the state govt. From there we not only eradicate authoritarian state laws, but slowly wean ourselves off of federal control, until we are satisfied or possibly secede. Our goal is to get 20,000 freedom minded men and women to join the movement.

My wayback machine didn't go back that far, but there's a reason secede was removed.  The project evolved.  It may come to that, but ideally (even if we never get there), the FSP will start a domino effect of a return to liberty.  We may wind up on the doorstep of secession, but we need not start out heading there.

Try Freestateproject.com instead of freestateproject.org if you want the original site.

I don't know what asshole started the FSP( ;)), but if you start a "big tent" organization, and ask anachist to join.....don't be suprized when they talk about anarchy.

The FSP doesn't take a stand on any issue. The FSP isn't for or against secession.

Come to PorcFest, perhaps you can talk with the individuals who started it.

I'm banging my own drum to change that (taking stands, not any particular stand).

Dang it, Russell...we can't be out forum-nazis by a bunch of moms!!  The indignity.  Quick, delete some posts.

NHFree.com is on all the flyers Dave is passing out.
It's on the bumper stickers Dreepa printed up (that are now on my & my wife's cars).
It's the URL that'll be on any stuff I hand out at high schools & colleges around the state.

It's simple, easy to remember and fun to say, and sums up nicely the basic idea of what we're trying to do.

Please... NHFree !

Kat, are you ready for me to talk to Crucial Servers and work on getting you hosted there instead of he.net?  He's willing to provide the service to NHFree gratis, and I bet we can persuade him to handle any server admin duties you need.  Also, he can likely make the transition very smooth.   8)

CrucialServers

I'm here not just for her but for anyone thats affiliated with nhfree even the users. Ask me questions as you please................ Thank You.

CrucialServers, that is a hell of a nice gesture. I sure hope Kat takes you up on it. I know who I'll be coming to if I ever need a hosted service...

CrucialServers

Thanks I appreciate it!................... :)

My hosting contracts will expire this fall. I'll be giving you a shout!

Crucial Servers, how would you compare your datacenter's connectivity to the internet to Serverbeach.com?
