Well, a friend has offered to pay for a bus ticket to NH if my campaign isn't successful in May.

But I really want to visit as soon as possible, but that's not likely since I've gotta rebuild my bank account.

I'm not even sure if there's a bus line that would travel that far, but perhaps Amtrak would be better?

I hear about the horrible snowstorms you guys are getting bombarded with right now, so it might be best to hold off until summer.

I'm so ready to at least visit the freakin' place.

Wow, $50 to New Hampshire?

From Dallas, Texas?

Hmm, what did ya do about food and showering and what not? I'm guessing the bus doesn't have "bus attendants" to go around asking "coffee?"

Hmm.

A "friend", or a detractor?  ;D

No, I took Greyhound from Indianapolis to NY.  Not exactly "exquisite" ... but it gets you there cheap.  I think the fare was $45 each way, so it amounted to $90.  Takes about twice as long as it would take to drive there yourself.  No leg room.  Wasn't exactly crowded, so most of the time I could take up two seats, though for one leg of my journey I was squashed.  (You really need the two seats for comfort.)

Its a great way to meet people though, and I did have a lot of fun.  If you come, you ought to come for Porcfest.  You wouldn't need tons of money.  You could stay in a tent and fish for your food.  Either that or hunt squirrels.  ;)

OK has had worse storms than NH this winter.

You can get on a bus in Mexico and continue changing buses untill you get to Alaska.  Oh, and you could fly Southwest to NH for not much more than a bus ticket.  If you include all of the cost of your meals while on the bus, you might come out ahead.  Well, unless you ate nothing but PB&Js.

The lowest taxes in America.  The only state with legal pot.  The only state that has elected someone that claims to be a libertarian to Gov. on a 3rd party ticket.  The state with the highest even vote for a LP member running for Prez (over 13%).  Tons of snow, water, trees, oil, and a bunch of guns.

Joey is back.

Uhmm I don't know who told you we just had a bad storm but... they need to look at a map.

If you don't have $200 -$300 I would advise going to get a job for a week... then saving it and then coming.  You might want to have a few dollars when you get here.  There is another broke guy in TX who wants to come to NH you should hook up with him.

I also took a Greyhound bus to get to NH form Pittsburgh, PA. It cost me about $100.00 and I didn't sleep at all the whole time! It took about 24 hours for the whole trip.

I second the recommendation about saving up some money before you get up here, even for a short visit.
