FYI, every seat in the house was not taken.  In fact, there were two empty seats right next to me.  Guess a lot of people were too lazy to walk up the stairs.   >:D

I did some networking on behalf of the FSP, the NHLP, and the NHLA.  (Whoa, too... many.... acronyms.)  I'm sure the NHLA will get some new members out of it. I also met an FSP'er who had driven up from Mass to see the movie.

The theater said 265 people...I guess based on how many tickets they gave out.

Well, 265 is still better than 100...

When we saw "Z" in the 60s, there were thousands and they showed it over and over to accommodate the crowd.

When I saw Mike as he was comming in, I said to Russell, "Is that Mike with a hair cut?" . . . He looked well . . . Mike came over and said hello . . . Got to talk more with Mike later and he seemed in great spirits.  8)

One guy whom I met at Wippersnappers had come all the way from Hawaii.  He was a FreeStater who was quite impressed with NH.  He was wishing he could stay longer . . . But, me thinks he'll be back!  :)

So, did everyone enjoy it?  GT, which one was you?  We're gonna be working hard to get the message out even stronger now.

I got there around 12:00. Jeans and black leather jacket with my 13 yr old son. Could not make it to Whipersnapper. The movie must have made an impression on my son he was talking to all his friend about it today at school. He's also planning on taking his new Constitution book to during free reading time.

Although I know there were some people who went in without tickets.

Yep.  And I'm one of those that didn't get a ticket.  What a crowd.  If that is any portent of things to come, the trigger-event(s) can only be just around the corner.

Cool.  Kira just said it was scary.

It was scary. And the personal stories, heartbreaking. It is a very moving film. We talked to Jeremy Noyes on Saturday about the White Mountain Land Club. It is time to prepare.

So ... after watching that video, how many of you decided to stop paying federal income taxes?

FTL_Ian

I had already decided.   8)   Anyone else?

Atlas

NH citizens would probably have the best chance at not paying income taxes. Presumably because NH judges would not be allowed to "not allow the law in their courtroom." Although I could be wrong. But, it seems with all the new freestaters coming this year, that more support will be available to those who don't pay and consequentially would become more mainstream. Plus, this solid support from NH citizens might spark the first public debate on the validaty of the income tax. Like I've said previously, if this movie becomes popular, who knows what will happen in this country. Will the second American Revolution take place in all fifty states? I hope it does. Although, I'll still honor my first 1000 pledge.

People need to make sure that we fight the income tax in NH!
I hear lots of rumblings about it. "It is for the children"

It might be easier to "follow the money" if the IRS was a government agency. But they're not, so you can't. Only a terrorist would want to know anyway. >:D
