Hi, I'm Marcy Brooks. I'm in the film.

Aaron is a great and gracious person. I hope the film gets the suport it deserves. It's good to see so many interested in our country's freedom.

Are you joining the free state project? If the Russo movie doesn't make it to the mainstream in the US, then the FSP may be your last option. I can't see Bush allowing his corporate movie industry buddies to promote this film too much. So, unless we start chipping in by the thousands, this film may never see the light of day. Great movie, however.

The movie doesn't HAVE "to make it to the mainstream in the US."
We also won't have to chip in by the thousands to have the film see the light of day.
DVD burner $34
100 DVDs $16
sending out 100 copies of a fairly informative movie:  (Insert cliche phrase here)

FTL_Ian

Yeah, I think Russo would be wise to release his film free to the internet, and accept contributions.

I'm just thinking of the massive, across the board impact that the movie could and should have. This would be the only expeditious manner to get the country on board.

Dreepa

I think (and I may be wrong).

That is if goes 'public' it will be taken more 'seriously 'then if it is two guys with a burner handing out CDs.

FTL_Ian

Sure, he should release it in theaters if possible, but either way releasing it free online will only bring more attention to the film.

dead_hobbit

I heard that Aaron released the video on bit torrent as well. If that's true, does anyone have a link to the torrent file?

What about the judge who stormed out of the courtroom when he didn't like the "not guilty" verdict?

If one of the defense attorneys or one of the accused stormed out of the courtroom because they didn't like the verdict, he would be held in contempt of court.  Who do these judges think they are, anyway?  They are supposed to be impartial, and merely navigate the proceedings ... not actively work for a desired verdict.

Hi, it's Marcy - the juror in the movie. Yes, we were all a little surprised, but we were so caught up in the celebration by that time, his method of leaving just added to the victory. :)

Russo's comments after the film are good.  It starts 28:00 into the movie.

Unfortunately we know a few people who are in jail because someone ELSE thinks the IRS is legal...
I love the part where the article says "All this is true. The sadder truth is that this seems to come as news to so may Americans."

Yes as we saw in an earlier skirmish on this forum, many of the folks here need to get up to speed on all of this.
