I see little value to maintainingg my American citizenship and will be securing a certain countries citizenship for my family and myself within 10 months.  This country is one of several that have no law or misapplication of law requiring an income or capital gains tax.

We are no longer disiliusioned by ideas that the US will not become a model nazi state.

Yes we are fleeing the USA just as many Germans fled Germany post 1933 Enabling Act.

Freedom does indeed require bold action.

Run!!!!

If unless your newly adopted country is one of the Free and Independent States of the Union I'd bid you adieu and say something like "And don't let the door hit ya on yer way out." or "Don't go away mad, just go away." :D

I can sympathize.  Russell and I have conversations about whether we should leave the country or not.  We decided to stay and resist the evil.  I still want to run for it sometimes.

I went on the website.  I gather you are a millionaire or close to it if your thinking of moving there, unless, you are descended form someone that lives there.
I would guess when times get even a little hard in most other countries the first thing they will do is to tell you to leave, possibly with just the clothes on your back.
I'll stick with the devil I know.

So what is the status of firearm legality in St Kitts and Nevis, and if possible can you give any info on other island-nations?

I've been to St Martin, and St Thomas (both territories, french/dutch and american respectively)

The lifestyle there seems so relaxed and everyone was pretty happy, I'd LOVE to live on one..

This is the last bastion of hope...here.... in this country.
If we cant stop it here then its over for everyone.

Isn't that the same Island where the Red Chinese have a shitload of weapons and ammo forward positioned? :o

If the poop really does go through the ventilator here, at least you and your family will have access to plenty of arms "for security purposes". ::)

I have some stuff on the Bahamas handy because I was looking into them yesterday. This Nassau institute looks cool. http://www.nassauinstitute.org/index.php

This is a guide to the Bahamas. http://www.thebahamasguide.com/

Getting a workers permit appears to be a pain though.

I can see moving to another country, but I want to stay.

Almost all of Warren Buffett's money is invested in the US. He also has a pile of $s. He is buying other things to help offset all the $s.
I am sure that Bill Gates is mostly still tied to MSoft stock. Lucky for him, when $s depreciate, his company can raise prices.

Buffet also covered his dollar short possition and Soros recently invested big in U.S. tech companies.

I would think firearms are outlawed on the carribean islands just as they will be in the usa.  If congress can erase the 4th,5th and 6th amendment by way of the patriot act then they can and will erase the  second amendment and without much objection from the citizenry.  Sure some will attempt to defend their right to bear arms and they will be summarrily shot to death by state agents.  (Of course this may be what is required to wake up the unconcious Americans)

Understand that this is truly in the hands of the body politic and they clearly disregard fundamental law as much or more than congress does.  It is the people who, at this time, refuse to check the government excesses that are the real threat to liberty.  During the American revolt fully 1/3 of the population took up arms, 1/3 remained loyal to the crown, and 1/3 were neutral and this at a time when the citizenry was much more educated, possessive of great fortitude/constitution, could live of of the land w/o complaint, and were all fully armed and educated in the use of arms.  In contrast, the American of today is generally statist in nature and is preferential to being taken care of by the state, is generally unarmed, cannot feed themselves without a store to go to, is generally uneducated, and is unbelievably docile.  A tyrant would be hard pressed to find a better group of subjects than the American people.

Regarding the fee for economic citizenship:  its quite cheap at around $325,000. It will not take long to make this back in taxes that would otherwise be paid or assets seized if I decided not to pay taxes.  Also is the wonderful feeling gets knowing the state is no longer feasting on my substances!

No, I am not a millionaire but I do see this as an investment that will certainly pay off.

Have you heard of the UK .... France ..... Germany? ;)

Oh btw for the person thinking of NZ ....... we have a few people signed up with the FSP to move from there to NH. :)

UK, France, Germany....America is on track to fully emulate and possibly best their overt tyranny.

Germany....when are they going to learn from their history....still nazi under a different name.
Germany had a superb constitutional republic afterwhich the US partly modelled the US constitution.  Did that stop tyranny from dominating the German people?  ChristianGermans at that.

I am waiting for someone to bash me for observing the reality that is America...any time now.

Statist refuse all reality as reality is truth.

I don't know about St. Kitts, but the islands in general tend to be very restrictive on firearms.

Some think of islands as beautiful, but they're gilded cages at best. It's hard to hide on a small island, and leaving --or staying!-- without the government's permission is almost impossible.

Is this some sort of joke? The UNITED NATIONS?

Wow, you couldn't be moving to a more socialist statist place! One that bows to the UN worse than we do! Hah...
