Let's stop the back and forth on the temperatures, it doesn't matter.
No, it doesn't. What does matter is when people lie to you. Take note of who they are.

According to the info posted, parts of NH are both warmer and colder than Chicago in winter and you are the only one that looks bad on this thread.
There must be some confusion....

in the last few months, the number of people signing up has slowed to a trickle.
actually in the last 2 months it has seemed to have picked up since the fall.

The number of movers we're seeing has slowed to a trickle.  There is little media attention surrounding the project.  We need more attention to make this thing work.

Starting the discussion and vote for a second free state would be a good thing for the project as a whole.  Remember, monopolies suck.  We're all about choice, here.

I'm not talking about splitting numbers, but adding to them.  I'm suggesting that we go to people and ask them: If you're not able/willing to move to NH, would you consider this other state?  The truth is that far more people are moving to New Mexico, Nevada, and Idaho because they are easier to move to.  Their economies are doing well, and their climates are good.  Wyoming and Nevada have liberty climates that are just as strong as New Hamsphire.

We will see a lot more media attention if we start discussion of a western state project now, than if we wait until migration has stalled out at a paltry 600 people.  I can see the headlines now. "Freestaters fighting amongst selves over FSP disaster." "FSPers in desperate plight to rekindle lost interest." "FSP total disaster, HAH HAH HAH"

The project needs an infusion of media attention.  We have a lot of success to crow about right now, but we won't in a few years if migration falls off.  Remember, people also move out.  We haven't seen the first FSPers move back out, but we will.  Eventually, the numbers will start going down.

People didn't listen to me when I mentioned these issues two years ago, and they're not listening to me now, even though it's obvious that I have been right.

If you want a western project, several exist.  The Free State Project membership picked New Hampshire and that's what we're going to make that work.  I'm thinking of re-opening the Which State? archives (it was closed off before I became the admin) on the FSP forums just so people can relive the state vs state debate without making those of us who have already decided relive it.

Why not just delete all of Max's related posts from the FSP Forum, instead?  Anyone with the ability to use google knows that the Western Free State movements started right after NH was selected and are still around (but almost noone wants to move to any of those 4 states because hardly anyone is working to support them).

I think Max is having a break down or something.  Y'all people in NH buy him a drink or something.
