It's called folk metal.
I have only one question:
Where can I get more of this??
It was pleasant enough at first... but when I heard the break at around 1:01 ... I was hooked :)

Folk-metal anthems. Rock.

Korpiklaani is easily my favorite band (they did that above song). Here's a few music videos by them:

Kadet Sipiina: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YGLbLZoYOxQ&search=Korpiklaani
Wooden Pints:  http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=vids.individual&videoID=612657369&n=2&Mytoken=7E830973-E821-B5F2-E81DE0E1172286286534953
Hunting Song:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3yM3XJZDV0Y&search=Korpiklaani
Beer Beer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B5hjDZItgG4&search=Korpiklaani

For a particularly libertarian folk metal song, try Korpiklaani's Cottages and Saunas:

Here we have built our cottages and saunas
From this swamp we have shovelled our fields
Nobody can take it away from us
Not for free, and that's for sure

Other bands you may appreciate:
Turisas
Falkenbach
At The Lake
Battlelore
Cruachan

This is why we invented "Bittorrent" and "Piratebay".

I can honestly say... it is very hard for me to remember the events of that night, but I know I enjoyed all the music tremendously  >:D

I hate to bump old threads, but I've been re-kindling my childhood Michael Jackson obsession recently, and noticed how there are some cool lyrics in songs, that I didn't pick up on when I was younger. Make no mistake, Michael Jackson is a disney-politics "save the bunnies and trees" guy, but you can find some neat pro-liberty one-liners in a lot of the songs.

In particular, I was impressed with the objectivism/individualism-tinged title track "History". It's not perfect with it's allusions to christianity etc, but the overall message is cool.

"He got kicked in the back
He say that he needed that
He hot willed in the face
Keep daring to motivate
He said one day you will see
His place in world history
He dares to be recognized
The fires deep in his eyes

How many victims must there be
Slaughtered in vain across the land
And how many struggles must there be
Before we choose to live the prophets plan
Everybody sing...

Every day create your history
Every path you take you're leaving your legacy
Every soldier dies in his glory
Every legend tells of conquest and liberty

Don't let no one get you down
Keep movin' on higher ground
Keep flying until
You are the king of the hill
No force of nature can break
Your will to self motivate
She say this face that you see
Is destined for history"

Coincidentally, Michael Jackson has a childhood obsession.  ;)
