Perry said he changed his mind after listening to constituents and reflecting on his own political views. He said he supports seat belt use, but described his vote as a vote for personal responsibility and against big government.

Hmmm...
Hey Kat or Russ, can you snail-mail a copy of the MA-Edition KFP to his office?

Thank you, thank you!
Any time I see a pro-Liberty person -- including and especially politically active pro-Liberty people -- I want them to know, they can keep banging their head against the wall where they are, or they can come join us and move forward.

You know, as part of my legislative camapaign, I am lit dropping my entire ward of 4400 homes (at least, the part I didn't get from my Selectman campaign last year).  If I had a thousand copies or so, I could drop them off all over Manchester Ward 5.  I have seen so many copies of KFP, but don't remember if they come out this way.

I tried to give Max some newspapers in response to this.   Here was the reply I got from him:

QuoteNo, I am in Los Angeles getting ready to ship out.  I
am a merchant mariner, so this eats up two or three
monbths at a time.

I am quite surprised (not necessarily in a good way)
that you are writing me, especially after flaming me
so many times on nhfree.com

I would appreciate it if you removed my from any email
list you have.  You and Russel Kanning are the only
two FSPers I don't get along with, and I'd rather
spend my time with other activists.

--Max

Lloyd Danforth

I feel slighted.  He forgot about me. I don' get along with him either.

Tom Sawyer

Damn... and I thought he would get elected and then NH would be Free.

"...He wants to dream like a young man

With the wisdom of an old man.

He wants his home and security,

He wants to live like a sailor at sea.

Beautiful loser, where you gonna fall?

You realize you just can't have it all..."

I'll miss you Max Headroom.

When I replied to him that he asked for the newspapers:

QuoteI asked you for nothing.  If I had seen your name, I
would not have conversed with you.  Please remove my
email from any of your lists, and do not ask me to
help out with any of your projects.

--Max

What a fucking lunatic.  Boy I'm sure glad I tried to bury the hatchet and help him with him "lit drop".

tracysaboe

I thought we were actually starting to communicate with him?

???

How sad :(

Tracy

ravelkinbow

Very sad...the paper on the other hand is awesome and I am sending a stack to my family, I've already spoke with my Mom and she will give them out  :)

Kat Kanning

Cool :)  I hope the paper actually helps the FSP.

What did I miss? I didn't realize that there was tension between you guys. Is Max dropping out of the FSP?
