Aw that would be enough for me to show up, but sadly I have a previous committment.
I am going to try to get to Concord Porcs and hand out Ron Paul stickers...in time for the next debate...

Just to let everyone know,

The MVP meeting is at Newick's seafood restaurant for the last time tomorrow.

I'm sorry some don't like the food or service, and since Newicks is closing this month, we'll soon have another place to meet which will hopefully please more.

But honestly, I could actually care less if the place we meet serves good food, slow food, or no food at all.  I would meet with all of you fellow freedom fighters in an abandoned warehouse if we had to- it's the information I come for.  The new ideas, the coordination, and the good friends I have made while fighting to free ourselves!

Murphy's is a great place, with great food, and I will definitely throw my personal business a Free Stater's way.  And WHEN they finish their back room which can hold our size, and WHEN the owners let me know they are ready to have such a large group in that room, we'll take a vote on meeting there.

I'll also start looking, again, for a new meeting place for June.

See you all tomorrow!

Shuvom

+1 for Shuvom for taking on the thankless task of MVP organizer and being so diplomatic.

+1 for Rob for organizing an alternative to the official group, in protest.

Personally, I didn't have much of a problem with the original venue and plan to be there since that's where most everything is happening. Afterwards, I plan to swing by Murphy's, one of my favorite lunch spots, and see what's happening there. I look forward to the day when the facility is able to accomadate a group our size!  :)

Keith has ALREADY had a group in his place that is larger than the attendance at most of our meetings...  It's the sports and social club and they fill the place up...literally...

Shuvom says he'll meet anywhere...even an abandoned warehouse...So how does that leave out Murphy's?

For the record...
I am not protesting Shuvom or MVP meetings...
I am specifically protesting Newicks...
I would welcome anyone else who feels this way...

See you all tomorrow!

Dave Ridley

One of the 'smaller' meetings only about 30 liberty lovers (and 4 'little' kids and 3 'minors')

Good to see everyone.

Hi All,
Keith told me personally that he is more than ready to accommodate the main MVP meeting.  He told me to have Shuvom call him.  He said he would open the pub at 11AM or even 10AM to facilitate our meeting.
Thanks,
Rob

Shuvom is going to try to find an outdoor venue for next month (June), based on requests. I think it could be a great picnic, and the kids can run around.

July+ will likely be at Murphy's, with an earlier start time, before they open to the public.

Rob -

I had spoke to Keith a while back and suggested the earlier meeting time - to which he was very much in agreement with. It was discussed at the MVP meeting yesterday and it looks like in July, that will be the plan...to meet earlier at Murphy's.

Go figure - you an I having the same thoughts....scary. :)

Hi Tammy,
Thanks for the humor.
I don't find it at all unusual that we would have the same thoughts.  We are, after all, in the same movement towards Liberty.  Some are just further along in their philosophical "process".  The Non-Aggression Principle, the Golden Rule, jury education(and jury nullification of most "laws"), and offering peaceful liberty-oriented alternatives to socialistic government indoctrination programs are what most of us are striving for...
Hope to see you this afternoon!
Rob

Should I be excited about how many people will show up at the next porc meeting .... or should I blame Ian for more vote fraud?
