yahoo has their panties in a bunch because it cuts non security  domestic spending 1 percent.  Wait till they add in the "Homeland Security Prevention" budget.

How can Bush be all proud about how lean this is?  Think about it in reality mister!  We are talking about almost 10 grand per person.  This includes babies and elderly.  Not even people who can possibly be adding to the coffer.

We really need some old fashioned economics in government.  I wanted to have Larry Burkett take over our governments finances.  He knew common sense money.  Hey maybe we can get the government some of his budgeting books.     He can still teach the government even though he isn't alive anymore.     He even has budgeting for kids.  If the grownup stuff is too hard maybe we can get the little kid versions.     I think our leaders need this book:



But it would sound too simple for them.  So they wouldn't listen.
