Rep Betty Hall's HR24 to be voted on Wednesday, March 19.

Concord, NH - We know Rep. Hall has the courage, she is known for her integrity and today, Wednesday March 19, New Hampshire House Resolution 24 will come up for the a vote in the Full House Session.

Today on the 5th Anniversary of the Invasion of Iraq, while some around the country are discussing "sunshine patriots", Representative Hall and her colleagues will debate attributes of Jefferson's Manual, FISA, US Attorney firings and how "our right to vote protects all other rights" regarding  impeachment of President Bush and Dick Cheney.

We learned at an impeachment teaching forum last night, in Manchester that they cannot ignore an impeachment subpoena or it becomes another impeachable offense. Ignoring the subpoena is what caused Nixon to decide to resign in 1 1/2 days.

Many people we have contacted including House Representatives tell us they are looking forward to the debate. US Representatives Paul Hodes and Carol Shea-Porter have been invited and could attend.

In addition, our world renown NH Secretary of State, Bill Gardner plans to be in attendance, listen to the arguments and the expected passage of HR24. It is Bill Gardner who is designated (in the last paragraph of HR24) to carry the papers directing impeachment hearings to begin in the US Congress, to Washington, DC.

Rep. Betty Hall is looking for all the support, she can muster to bring the word of the People to Concord, NH. Please attend and support Rep Hall if you can attend. She will have created a new chapter in our history books - to bring Impeachment proceedings from a State House to the US House. This remedy was designed for the State Representatives to do the job that failed at the Federal level, for whatever reason. Now, it is up to the States - specifically at this time - the State of New Hampshire led by Betty Hall to tell Washington, "Let the hearings begin.".

Today, it may fall into place just as Thomas Jefferson imagined.

Betty Hall's Impeachment Resolution

The vote is scheduled for April 16th.

You contacted Betty Hall with your support of her impeachment resolution HR24. Now you can help her get it passed.

Representative Betty Hall, sponsor of HR24, needs huge support from everywhere in order to succeed. We ask YOU to send your message to the legislators of New Hampshire telling them for the sake our country, vote for HR 24!  Contact your State House Representative by going to: http://www.gencourt.state.nh.us/house/members/housemembers.html

Would you be willing to send a copy of your letter to the editor of your local newspaper, as well as the Concord Monitor or Nashua Telegraph?
news@cmonitor.com
news@nashuatelegraph.com

Simply by passing in the N.H. House without either a vote in the Senate nor a signature from the  Governor, HR24 will be sent to the United States Congress to commence impeachment.

We only need 202 votes to begin a new era of life, liberty and truth for this country.

The vote will be held on April 16; we have just over two weeks to reach the 202 votes we need for passage.

Help us by sending this letter to everyone you know in NH with whom you may have contact? Ask them to support Representative Betty Hall and HR24.

Email to:  I.Support.HR24@gmail.com and please add your town and State.
If you want to to learn more about HR24 before contacting others, you can join our information conference calls, which take place on each Monday / Wednesday / Friday at 9PM.  Just dial: 1.218.339.7800 then press 659388# to get on the conference call.

The Founding Fathers of the Constitution, created this remedy for the people, to set impeachment in motion under Section 603 of Jefferson's Manual, for charges to be transmitted by a State legislature, directing Congress to ACT.

Some N.H. Representatives do not understand that state legislatures have this special privilege to send petitions for impeachment to the US Congress.

Indeed, many see this as a duty of state legislatures to act when the U.S. Congress refuses  to protect our Constitution. Betty Hall requests YOUR voice and email to support HR24! Do it today. Do it NOW!

Thank you for your help in this vital push for accountability.

A note from Nan Stearns of WMD:

Dear WMDers,
...

The Impeachment effort is heating up!!!!!  A few of us have been calling members
of the NH House of Representatives urging them to support Betty Hall's
Resolution, HR24.  After more than a few postponements, the resolution will
definitely be voted on by the entire house on Wednesday, April 16th.  If you are
free, please plan to join us in Concord on that day.  We will send more
information as the date nears.  Two days earlier, on Monday, April 14th, there
will be a Rally at the Capital Center for the Arts in Concord.  Invited to speak
at that event are people you will SO want to hear, to include Daniel Ellsberg,
Ramsey Clark, John Nichols and Robert Bowman.  Betty believes that these four will
definitely attend.  Many from all over the area who support Impeachment and many
members of WMD will gather together.

You may need just a little more information to spark your interest.  Like me, you may need to jog your memory.   Daniel Ellsberg is the Daniel Ellsberg who leaked the Pentagon Papers.  Ramsey Clark was US Attorney General during the Johnson Administration and Assistant USAG under President Carter.  John Nichols writes for The Nation magazine, and spoke in Hannover when Betty and the New England Impeachment Coalition held the Teach In at Dartmouth.  He is profoundly eloquent.  The last gentleman, Robert Bowman, is an activist who was Director of Advanced Space Programs Development for the US Air Force.  He is also a member of Scholars for 9/11 Truth.

I hope this works. It will be nice to get rid of W and get Dick Cheney in there.

W would declare martial law suspending Congress.

His biggest threat would be 'birding' with Dick. Secret Service would never see that one coming.

Yippee!  What a great replacement, Mr. totally evil looking guy himself!  Dick C. chills me to the bone, it's his eyes they are so scary looking at least with Bush there are some funny jokes and I love making fun of his pronunciation of words!  They all have to go, that's what I say.  I think I want to be president! :peace:

kola

the impeachment thing is getting a bit old and a bit late.

even if it happens nothing will change.

it would be nice to see but OTOH it would be the unpeeling of just one single layer of the onion.

I dig, Kola, but it is a process of the people discovering they have a muscle, then working it out to develop its strength so they can flex it and when necessary, deliver a knock-out punch. Of course, Betty Hall can't bring back from the dead all the people killed by Bush and Cheney, but I'm cheering her on, because she's on the right track and gathering steam! People have voluntarily given up their power and have been convinced to do so by the schools and mainstream media and the complicit pollitical parties. By jumping out of the Matrix and swingin' their fists, they are coming alive again. We need live people in the movement, not zombies!  ;)

I agree Jack. Good points!

I presumed incorrectly that they were trying to impeach him for treaty violations. The use of the military (killing) for non-defensive purposes was set in precedent by Jefferson during the Barbary Coast piracy days.

On Jefferson's inauguration as president in 1801, Yussif Karamanli, the Pasha (or Bashaw) of Tripoli, demanded $225,000 from the new administration. (In 1800, Federal revenues totaled a little over $10 million.) Putting his long-held beliefs into practice, Jefferson refused the demand. Consequently, in May of 1801, the Pasha declared war on the United States, not through any formal written documents but by cutting down the flagstaff in front of the U.S. Consulate. Morocco, Algiers, and Tunis soon followed their ally in Tripoli.

In response, Jefferson sent a group of frigates to defend American interests in the Mediterranean, and informed Congress. Although Congress never voted on a formal declaration of war, they did authorize the President to instruct the commanders of armed vessels of the United States to seize all vessels and goods of the Pasha of Tripoli "and also to cause to be done all such other acts of precaution or hostility as the state of war will justify."

The frigate USS Enterprise defeated the 14-gun Tripolitan corsair Tripoli after a fierce but one-sided battle on August 1, 1801.

The American navy went unchallenged on the sea, but still the question remained undecided. Jefferson pressed the issue the following year, with an increase in military force and deployment of many of the navy's best ships to the region throughout 1802. USS Argus, USS Chesapeake, USS Constellation, USS Constitution, USS Enterprise, USS Intrepid, USS Philadelphia and USS Syren all saw service during the war under the overall command of Commodore Edward Preble. Throughout 1803, Preble set up and maintained a blockade of the Barbary ports and executed a campaign of raids and attacks against the cities' fleets.

The precedent that helped put US interests above the Constitution.

I thought the bill was to impeach both of them.

Lloyd Danforth

Shouldn't do one without the other

jaqeboy

There is a link to Betty Hall's bill somewhere back in this thread, but I believe her bill is for both of them.

Dennis Kucinich's bill in Congress is to impeach Cheney first, to eliminate the danger of Cheney getting in the drivers' seat (as if he wasn't already).

You can contact Betty via the email address in the previous posts for details.
