A newbie question - sorry if the solution is obvious - I'm new to  this forum thing ...

I see that I can ignore some users, but their posts are still there, just the
text is changed to "This user is currently ignored."

Is there a way to have their posts completely invisible to me?

I will defer that to the forum owner but answer with this:

Even if you ignore someone, their posts will still be quoted by some.

I just tend to ignore and not answer those. Just like I don't put my name on a do not call list. I just hang up on the callers.

Thanks - yes, I'll still see their quotes, but it's better than seeing their posts 
besides, the high noise people tend to quote each other ...
