Impromptu Hike today starting at 2:30.  We're meeting at our house at 2:30.  If anyone wants to join us for a stroll around Goose Pond in Keene, feel free to join us!  357-2049

Gloria loves the pictures - "That's not a pond!" - and wants to do this hike sometime - my burn needs to heal - and wonders if the hour is reasonable for her or if we would need more time.

I'm not going to be moving very fast.  Russell thinks "about an hour" too.  15 minutes travel each way.

It turned out to be probably an hour and a half.  We took two hours to get all the way around, but took all the detours.

We had a great time and Kat makes an exceellent potato and kale soup. Kira makes a wicked carrot cake. Did I use that yankee word correctly? The stroll around the pond(lake?) took me almost 7000 steps. I took my pedometer.
Great hanging out with y'all. Thanks, Caleb, for going easy on us old fogeys. I know it was just because you wanted to ride in our car.
