Okay. Sorry for the confusion.

That Deposition is me cross-examining Nashua NAACP President Gloria Timmons in my Civil Suit against her (and NAACP VP Melanie Levesque and Chief Dunn) for Defamation. I am establishing the fact that what I did was not prohibited by the by-laws of the Organization, and that I did not misrepresent myself as a licensed attorney in the Demand Letter to Chief Dunn. Those facts are readily evident by the two passages.

See, NAACP and Dunn are in bed together to cover up the abuse that happened to Willie Toney, which spawned the Demand Letter.

Irony is, before being voted in a Nashua Legal Redress Chair, I originally went to NAACP seeking help in my case against American Tower in Boston, then they did nothing for me but referred me to NAACP Nashua to work for them. I guess they thought I would know when to pull a punch.

But I've never pulled a punch on a Civil Rights issue, and I didn't here either, writing a Demand Letter to Chief Dunn. Dunn calls NAACP and Gloria falsely tells him she knew nothing about my license suspension issue when in fact that it totally untrue; I had sent documentation to Boston, National and Nashua noting that a court-appointed monitor Professor Lou Jacobs, Esq., who turned out to become a friend of mine (and who had been long-term friends with my then-girlfriend) wrote that "racism, ignorance and reactionary politics played a role" in said suspension -- which is in itself a red herring anyway 'cos I've never indicated I was licensed in NH and you don't have to be licensed to be a legal redress chair.

And I sent a copy of the Demand letter to Nashua and Boston when I wrote it, to keep everybody informed. Then Gloria says I was trying to hide the letter. How? By sending a copy to Boston President Lenny Alkins, who recommended me to Nashua in the first place?

The reason you are having a hard time following is part my fault in the storytelling because I am so rushed, and it is part the fault of the NAACP because you can't believe what they are doing here. Just refocus your perceptions about the NAACP, as I had to do, in order to recognize that they are the bad guy.

Take a look at NAACP CEO Bruce Gordon these days getting buddy-buddy with NSA and Verizon:

Mr. King,

Aren't you the reporter that got fired at the Indianapolis Star for being a Christian ...?

Sorry, but I'm from Indianapolis, and Nuvo ran a story on ... I believe you ... a couple years back.

Caleb, it was my tennis-playing compadre James Patterson who got the heave-ho, with Lisa Coffey. I knew James a little -- he was often on police beat and I was a general-assignment so there was crossover, but I did not know Lisa. The paper was more conservative when I was there, as it was owned and managed by the Pulliams, who are Quayle in-laws.  I was there for several months before law school in '90.

I don't know what has happened with his case. He and I were emailing each other about my American Tower case; he was going to do something with it but then they did something with him.

Scott, I was thinking of going off paper but it's kinda hard when the gov't already has your ass on paper in the first place =^.)

But I still fight back even all the way to Columbus, the start of my hard times where they illegally absconded with my license for only a year, but with mad fines to keep me away.  Listen to this school board president go off on a parent whose child got jacked up at school by a known felon.

There's a reckless endangerment case there and the Columbus Indy Media is all over this case.

Also, http://kingcast.net contains my press conference movie as well; actual footage.

Peace.

A black man with the courage to publicly stand up to the good old boy network?  (Which I presume exists in NH as well as down here in FL.)

Bravo.

With a cameraman to boot?

Awesome!

It's an honor to have you on nhfree.com.   ;D

The Extortion letter is seen at Act Two.

http://christopher-king.blogspot.com/2006/05/kingcast-presents-milberg-weiss-et-al.html

THe NAACP I had concerns about from back on Columbus when they came out of the woodwork to try to steal my client, a decorated Persian War (#1) veteran who was made to get back on the phone with an irate white customer who had said "I didn't call in here to argue with some nigger" after I had done all the work on Mr. Boatwright's case -- when their network of attorneys had initially shunned. Third paragraph, parental discretion advised:

But to think that they would actually do this -- including throwing out emails on which the DOL and Boston City Council took action:

is incredible.  And it takes a long time to really pour through this stuff to get to the nuggets of truth, but if you read Act Two and use the links you will get it, for sure.

Peace.

I'm sorry, I've never felt like I really understood what was happening with your case.  This is what I understand of it.  Please correct me if I'm wrong:

1.  Police Chief Dunn of Jaffrey and other officers drew guns on, and did a body cavity search on a black man for "loitering".
2.  You wrote a letter complaining of this and demanded some recompense to this black man?
3.  You're now personally on trial for attempted extortion of Jaffrey police.

How did whether or not you're currently a lawyer fit in to all this?

Christopher King

Yes you've got the basics down pat and that's really all there is to it.

Not being a lawyer is a red herring because as I pointed out in the Peterborough Transcript piece a librarian can be a legal redress chair and I never told them I was a licensed attorney.

To the contrary, I sent the NAACP a legal pleading from a lawyer of mine that included a quote from one of my mentors, tenured Ohio State Law Professor Lou Jacobs, Esq., who noted that "racism, ignorance and reactionary politics" played a role in my suspension. NAACP did nothing because they don't like my profile and realize that I will go after some of their buddies.

There is an excellent piece I wrote about this citing outside authority here where I note that BAE sponsors Nashua NAACP:

http://christopher-king.blogspot.com/2006/03/naacp-final-pretrial-minus-3-sponsored.html

As well as one from Daily Kos:

http://christopher-king.blogspot.com/2006/03/rollin-or-sold-down-river.html

And then yesterday we see more evidence of outright perjury on the part of Gloria Timmons, swearing under Oath she's got an affidavit against me when she really ain't got dookie.

Y'all should come over to Keene for the trial on Monday.

Peace.
