We enjoyed the Soup and Sedition meeting a lot. Very fun, wish we had such a meeting here in Tennessee.
Aha ... so this is you on the forum. It was great to meet you guys.
If you start a meeting in your town .... others may join you. :)

Well, three of us crash the Starbucks in Oak Ridge every Tuesday night for our own political discussions. Perhaps we should make it more of a public meeting. Mostly we're in the back corner in black speaking in conspiratorial whispers (not quite, but almost).  :P

Russell Kanning

If you don't whisper, then you can attract and repulse more people. :)

Russell,
I know you like to be different and there is nothing wrong with that...
But...
I want to invite others to our meetings and the NHFT is confusing to some...
And...
A side thought is why are we making things harder for those outside of our "NHFT"...
When I send them a link from the calendar it goes to a page with three different times on it...
I don't think that we want to go out of our way to confuse people or make it more difficult to attend meetings...

I have a few people in the Keene area that might be interested in attending the meetings but I'd like to address this issue first before I send them links to the calendars...

I came across this thread after doing a search for NHFT on the forum. I found this forum last year because people here were talking about defying the government's Daylight Savings Time.

Each time an event has been posted on this forum with NHFT it always has EDT along with it. Even if people have no clue what NHFT is, they should recognize EDT. I attend a CA public school and I know what EDT is. I don't see why people are complaining so much. Now I'm complaining, so I'll shut up.

You are a welcome addition to the forum .... and I look forward to when you can move to NH.

Thanks Russell. I am gratified to be welcomed so warmly on this forum. I have been amazed at all the "sticking it to the man" that has gone on in the last few years in NH. I hope to move there some day to be part of the growing crowd. :)

See you guys at the meeting. We will be talking tilting at windmills for saturday. :)
