Even if you don't normally engage in the political process, please take the 10 minutes out of your day to call these five people and just make your opinon known!

The fate of Real-ID in New Hampshire now rests in the hands of the 5 members of the Executive Council.

Please contact these five individuals, and tell them, we don't want New Hampshire to take the Federal $3million grant to implement "Real-ID". Our House and Senate pledged to study the issue... and then our Senate played parlimentary tricks to avoid doing that study. We should not take this money until we understand exactly what Real-ID will cost our state.

Raymond Burton is leaning heavily against it, but mentioned he'd only recieved 2 contacts besides me.  We had a nice conversation about REAL ID and the council.  I told him about nhfree.com.

Called Peter Spaulding, a lady answered, sounded like this was the first call she'd taken about the issue.

Left a message for Ruth Griffin, Raymond J. Wieczorek, and Debora Pignatelli

PLEASE remember to be polite!  Call at resonable hours.  Pissing people off and other BS could cost you and your children some serious Liberty.  WE CAN STILL WIN THIS ONE.

I sent something like this to each (obviously more personal to my representative on the council . . . etc.) . . . also left phone mesage and/or talked to . . . Feedback so far is (Shhhhh)  DON"T GIVE UP . . . We NEED to keep working! . . .

Dear Councilor XXXXXXX,

I would not normaly contact any reprentative outside my district, but someone said you folks don't mind hearing from others on this issue.  Thank you for that!

Please reject the $3 million from the Federal Government to sucker New Hampshire in to the REAL ID trap.  Senator Sununu, the Union Leader, and many, many grass-roots type folks and organizations from the Left, the Right, and the Center are opposed to the REAL ID.

I ask that you DO NOT BUY the nice little story from pro-national ID people about how, " . . . a NH family-of-five going to Disney World will need to spend $500 on passports . . ."  IT IS NOT TRUE!  That argument assumes that even little kids need to carry national IDs.  It should give us chills to think this is the direction they are contemplating.

On issues so important to our Libertys, many folks look to (and quote) Patriots of the past such as Gen. John Stark. That's fine, and I agree.  But today I say we MUST look at ourselves, look to the future, and - most important - look at our children and grandchildren, for it is them to whom WE will answer.  PLEASE take this opportunity to preserve some Liberty for the generations to come.  There is nothing more important that you can do for them.

Thank you,

John Connell

The Fiscal Committee approved the money.
It's in the Council's hands now.
Please... let them know your opinion!

Thanks for the update.  If nobody contacts them they'll just assume that nobody cares, and likely make a BAD choice that
all of us will have to live with.  At least they haven't done what that senator from Raymond did, and say they want to give up some of
their rights.  Looks like tomorrow I'll add calling these folks, to my new routine with writing Russell.

I'm about to head over to the Nashua Freedom Forum (at the Border's on DW highway).
I have the Councilor's contact information printed up and will be distributing it.

Call Lynch as well, we need to keep him true to his word!

Okay, I've sent email to all the councilors and the Governor, but because I live out of state right now I'm not sure that will matter.  I did mention that I'm moving to NH soon.  Do you think it will help or hurt for an out of state person to call?  I'm not that familiar with NH politics to hazard a guess.
