You have to understand that a lot of the 'patriot' community is religious. They are NOT libertarians. However, they feel the same way you do about the overly confiscatory practices of government.

So it's only natural that since they likely fear death at this point, they are talking about God.

If it gives them strength why do you denigrate it? I can't believe anyone would criticize them on that at a time like this. They are not about to take a cyanide pill either, since that's considered a sin I imagine.

If I thought the government was about to blow me up I think I'd suddenly be praying too....geesh.

Ed's and Elaine's new religious isn't just about God.  They claim to have Queen Elizabeth's private number and that she is secretly calling the shots in the Illuminati conspiracy against them.  All books except the four hand picked by "Sonny" should be burned. 

And if you think that Ed claiming that the Ten Commandments and God are telling him to kill a judge's children is going to help the Libertarian movement, you're incorrect.

Alex Jones was trying to talk down the militants, because political & peaceful channels are starting to have an effect. He said we don't want the revolution to start now, of course he ended by saying that we want the revolution to start later I doubt he's given much thought to the fact that we can still free the country without violence.

Just got back from Plainfield/W. Lebanon.  Monier said they were not going to attack the Browns.  They were removing the roadblock on Stage Rd. just as we were leaving.  I didn't go to the Brown's house.  They cut the phone line this morning when they arrested the Brown supporter.  They didn't want other supporters showing up.  They were surveilling the Brown's home to make sure of where they were before they siezed Elaine's dental office.  The supporter discovered them while they were checking out the house, and so they arrested him.  They cut the phone line to prevent more supporters from showing up. 

Kira and I went to W. Lebanon to get some photos.  One W. Lebanon policeman gave me a very mean look as we were leaving.  We went over to Shaw's to deliver some papers and were briefly detained by a W. Lebanon detective who said that I turned twice without using a turn signal.     I told him I was just being a reporter and gave him a paper.  He let us go after a few minutes.

The court ruled that their real property was forfeit. I tuned in during the middle of the broadcast and that's how I'm hearing it.

I have to say a lot of these callers are raving lunatics, and I'm really hoping none of them do anything stupid. The last thing America needs is another Oklahoma City. If these Patriots are so bent on going to force of arms then they ought to jump in the pickup and head to Plainfield. There is an honorable way to do it. But what they are talking about ain't it.
A lot of those folks are ranting about taking down the economy and mounting a corrila war. Of course I'd say 95% plus of them are just wind bags.

Yeah, we don't want another OK City type bombing.  Bombs like that result in too many innocent victims (I think 1 is too many) and collateral damage, and don't do anything to help the cause.  I wonder how the other bombs got into the OK City federal building and why the ATF moved out the day before the bombing.  I suspect that the OK City bombing may have been a false flag type operation.  I think the best thing someone can do is to educate others.

I don't think anyone is shocked by the way this has turned out Jane, but people have been planning to take action when it did happen all along.

It sounds like the situation is diffused and what Kat is saying backs that up. But this is definitely a show of force, and I think a reasonable person can understand that there will be a real strike soon.
