I forsee their defense failing miserably.

Criminal(?) trespassing. Did they invent this charge for these people? Please tell me that this is a misdemeanor.

Maybe because it was Senators' offices it was considered federal property? You know as in 'make a federal case out of it'? (Don't meant to be funny, but....I think that is where the saying comes from!)

I have been convicted of criminal trespass ..... so with the addition of these folks, I consider it the "in" thing to have done. :)

If they were tresspassing on private property, that actually would be a crime.

But the Fed is partially funded by them. It's "public" property. They actually have partial ownership right?

Just goes to show you the fed cares more about protecting it's property rights then the property rights of individuals -- it's sole reason for existance.

Wow, convicted.
I've only been accused.  After some persuasion they dropped it down to disorderly conduct.

Ohhhhhh, very trendy!

Dave Ridley

From the AP:

"The defendants are: the Rev. David Van Strien, 80, of Peterborough; Guy Chichester, 70, of Rye; the Rev. Keta Jones, 63, of Concord; Jamilla El-Shafei, 52, of Kennebunk, Maine; William Thomas, 62, of Auburn; Ann Isenberg, 55, of Bow; John Bopp, 53, of Henniker; and Michael Franklin, 48, of Warner."

I think it would be useful to contact all of these folks, express respect for their sacrifice and invite them to NHfree.com.  I doubt I can get to all of them but may give it a try.  I'm probably the most right wing guy here except Jane ( who isnt a guy)  but I have to respect what they did and recognize they would make be great activist to work with and communicate with on the issues where we agree.

LOL! Thanks for recognizing I'm not a guy despite my male-oriented  interests such as computers, guitars, cars and fishing! Can you teach this acuity to certain other men who don't seem to have the same level of perception?

:fishing:

PS - I'm not actually 'right wing' but I know that we are heading for socialism so I am pulling in the other direction as hard as I can....especially when folks are not making the connection with the fact that if they don't like to be told what to do by our own gov't, then how in heck do they tolerate being told what to do by another country? Not like someone can plunk their butt down in your household without paying you rent else you'll eventually throw their butts out right?

Guy Chichester has been around a long time. He was one of the leaders of the Seacoast Anti-Pollution League (SAPL) which battled against the Seabrook Nuclear Plant. Very leftist.
