Ok..... can someone teach me how to upload a file?

Is it
A. I don't have permissions.
B. I don't know how.
C  I am just clueless.

It may be a multiple answers.

No error message when you tried to upload?  If you do an attachment, you shouldn't need an image tag, it should just show up attached to the post.

The first time I tried uploading a file, it didn't work, but I also didn't get an error message. Turns out I wasn't using one of the accepted file formats.
