I just read the feature article about your plan in the KFP.  I admire your passion, and humbly suggest an alternative.  Had you considered burning an effigy instead of the flag?  Perhaps of Mr. Bush or Rumsfeld?

... or simply flying a Gadsden or Colonial flag!

Burning is supposed to be a respectful way of laying a flag to rest.

I'd suggest demolishing it in any way possible, if you really want to destroy a flag.

I suggest putting small paper american flags through a paper shedder.

Great ideas, guys!  I love all of them.  Sounds like something fun for you guys to work on.  ;)

I'm gonna stick with my idea, though.  If they are going to kill Iranians, then burning their flag is a proper response.  Its amazing how many people have more compassion for a piece of cloth than for flesh and blood human beings.

Actually, as a supplement to the flag burn ... there is talk that we might hang (in effigy) Uncle Sam ...

As for Bush or Rumsfeld, that's too personal.  I think they are just cogs in a much larger machine.  It's bigger than them.  When Bush is gone, bad guys will still be around.

That would apear just as left wing as flag purning though. -- infact in many ways more partison. That's really not much of an alternative.

I agree, I couldn't think of a better effigy, but Uncle Sam would take the cake.  Good idea.
