Anyone here have any faves for governor?

I'm thinking maybe David Buhlman...I've met him;  he's pretty charasmatic and has some sense of the importance of not coming off too radical...  although actually he comes off pretty radical LOL.

The next Govener needs a good mission statement dammit or I wont support him .

Russell Kanning

Are you sure that is the phrase you wanted to post...you might want to rethink it a little. :-X

Pat K

Yes it is. What could be better than a mission statement dammit.

Just thinking of it gives me chills of excitment.

Dave Ridley

The mission statement must be at least 3 pages long and impossible to understand.

Actually, there may be a VERY good option. Bruce Keough.

He ran in the R primary in 2002, and was pretty darn libertarian; not perfect (if there is any such thing), but even moreso than CB.

He started polling with about 3% (hmmm.. I wonder who that is) before the primary, and as Benson and Humphrey were slinging mud at each other, Keough ran a superb, low-budget, positive campaign, and in the last month, climbed from 3% to 30%, beating out Humphrey, and nearly beating Benson.

And the rumor mill has it that he is seriously considering a run for Governor in 2006.

If so, he's my favorite so far..... :D

Keough had a decent editorial in the "Union-Leader" Feb 8.  Not specifically libertarian, but he takes Lynch to task well.

What is his professional and/or government background?

What about the Senator, Boyce?  Anyone here know him?   Does he have the chops?

Michael Fisher

Do you think we could get "anarchy" on the ballot if we get enough petitions?

He was a State Senator from my district (Includes Exeter). If I remember correctly, it was one term. Also was a UNH trustee. He is now Town Moderator in Dublin. A businessman. (I believe he once worked for Signal Corp., but I am not sure.)
