FSP Road Signs

We're going to try and get it together to put up some freeway signs for the FSP.  Truck drivers & others will see them out in the middle of nowhere.  We're thinking a series of small signs amounting to "Only 2000 miles to the Free State...freestateproject.org" or some such thing.  Russell's dad travels around the large highways in KS and other midwest states.  He's asking his dad to locate a farmer who'd let us put up the signs on his land for cheap or free.  We'd take up a collection to pay for the sign making and rent and such.

The other thought was to have small yard signs that people could buy and put up in their yards.  They could use a marker to put in the mileage from their home to the free state.  Maybe sell them on the FSP website.

What do you think?  Would you want to help make this happen?

Kat will this be approved/blessed/sanctioned by the FSP?
Maybe yes because it won't be in NH?

They are supposed to get this cool feature on the website where people can donate to specific projects.
I wonder when that will be running?

I think that project's been in the works for almost 2 years, so your guess is as good as mine.

Wow!  This sounds to me like one of the best ideas yet!  Perhaps we can mobilize our allies in the Libertarian Party to help us with this across the country.  I will bring it up to our local group here in Florida!

Seeing the same unique sign suddenly pop up all over the country would certainly engage one's curiousity.

We can do the fundraising outside the FSP so we don't have to wait for or involve their mechanism.

We have not been able to mobilize anything inside the LP .... especially anything concerning the FSP. I hope you find a different response.

i'd say put them all up in mass.  the people there can pretty easily move, they all live under tyrrany, and only maybe 1 in 10 have ever heard of us.
